Chapter 2

The Other Girl

Trinity Riley Roselyn.

Have you ever heard of her?

Probably not. She's not normally one to speak out of turn, but can rant non stop about some thing she's passionate about. (Not in a bad way!)

Trin's only family disappeared before her birthday.

Her sister, Caitlyn, disappeared a week before.

Her parents, Carrie and David, disappeared 2 days before.

And similar had happened to her friend Blaire. In fact, the day before her birthday, Blaire stopped all her contact with Trin.

The only thing keeping her going, was that she had her Harry Potter things.

Trin lived, dreamed, talked, hell even breathed Harry Potter. Just like Blaire, her world practically revolved around Harry Potter.

A few weeks ago, Trin had started to think she was going crazy. She could swear on Merlin that she saw Luna Lovegood or Ginny Weasley. And the book versions, not the movie portrayal.

But, of course, no matter how much she wished Harry Potter was real, it wasnt. And Trin knew that deep down.

Trin's parents weren't against dreamworlds and magic to much, unlike Blaire's. Carrie was an art teacher for the local elementary school, along with Blaire's mom. Although, there are times Trin feels she is treated like a child, her mom has the best intentions for her.

David was a lawyer, and had a strong belief against magic and things similar. Trin had to hide her books and some other things if her dad came into her room. Other wise, it would be goodbye things and life.

On Trin's 15th birthday, she ordered herself some chinese food from the place down the block. She had snooped around a bit, and found a bit of cash in the spice cabinet in the kitchen.

She was ready to pick up a book from her shelf, when there was a knock on the front door.

Trin grabbed her cell phone and put 911 on speed dial (A/N: If you didnt already know this, Trin and Blaire lived on Long Island New York. Just figured I should put that out there :) ok continue reading)

She walked down to the front door, and opened it, expecting to see a delivery guy.

Instead there were 3 adults. That strangely looked like Luna, Ginny and Neville from Harry Potter.

"Hello there. May we come in?" the Luna look-a-like asked me. She shook her head.

"Sorry, I don't have anything to give you. Come again some other time" Trin replied, somewhat rudely.

"We aren't collecting anything. My name is Luna, and we're here to help you. We heard about your family disappearing." Blondie- Luna- told me, before she could close the door.

"You- you aren't going to kidnap me?" Trin asked cautiously. The red head shook her head. She opened the door a bit.

"I guess you could come in. But I know how to fight!" Trinity told them. The red head rolled her eyes and followed Luna inside, and the boy on their heels. Since they were wearing hoods, as soon as she closed the door, (making sure not to lock it if I had to run) they slid the hoods off their heads.

Trin swears on Merlin's wand that they look exactly like Luna, Neville and Ginny from Harry Potter.

"I know you probably think we look familiar, and we will explain as much as we can. But for now, we need you to go pack anything you would need from the house. Except food and a bed and things like that. Alright?" Luna explained, somewhat hastily. Trin nodded, trying to process the information.

Trinity ran up to her room, and grabbed a bag. Apparently, Luna had followed her, because once Trin started throwing things into her own bag, Luna stopped her.

"Use this bag. You can fit a lot more and it will be lighter." Luna said calmly. Trin nodded in response and took the bag cautiously from the woman. The blonde haired woman walked slowly back to the bedroom door, and watched Trin pack her things. She threw thing after thing into the bag, wondering how it wasn't full already.

She figured it had an undetectable extension charm on it. It was the only explanation. But she wasn't completely sure whether she should believe this stuff or not.

While Luna and Trinity packed up Trin's room, Ginny and Neville started going around the house, placing things in another small bag with a charm on it. They put a box of food and drinks in the bag, a charm over the box so the food and beverages didn't spoil. They put plates and glasses and bowls, things you would need if you were going on vacation, and weren't staying in a hotel. The two adults knew what they were doing, and duplicated the things they took, to avoid the muggles thinking the house was robbed.

10 minutes later, Ginny and Neville heard footsteps come down the stairs.

"Ginny? Neville? Where'd you go?" They heard Luna shout to the house.

"In the kitchen Luna!" Ginny shouted back.

A few seconds later, Ginny and Neville were met by Luna and a 15 year old girl hanging in the air. Luna saw her two friends looks of confusion.

"She started to freak out, so I had to use stupeferus." Luna explained, and the looks of confusion vanished. "Are you all done?" She continued.

"Yes. At least, I think so. We duplicated what we took, except the food." Ginny replied. Luna nodded, deep in thought.

"We'll bring her to my house, I feel like there's someone here. I'll explain later." Luna explained, her face etched in worry. The pair both nodded in understanding, and Ginny took the small bag and apparated on the spot.

"Do you want me to apparate with her?" Neville asked. Luna shook her head.

"I can handle it. I'll meet you soon" she replied. Neville nodded and apparated on the spot. Luna took a deep breath, picked up the girl, and apparated to her own home.
