I am so sorry about posting this so late... I went to my friends house for New Years eve, and completely forgot to post this... Battle Wounds will be posted shortly after this, I just need to go through it and make sure it's finished.

Enjoy this final chapter (but not really) of The Future. This one I assure you has absolutely nothing to do with the plot, though I am definitely including a scene in the separate stories.

This is actually probably my favorite chapter/part of this entire story. I hope you guys like it as well.

I really love you guys so much and thank you for sticking with the story. I hope you enjoy this special, and Battle Wounds. *imagine a kissing face emoji here*

December 31, 1980

"Remus!" I screeched, suddenly drenched in milk. My idiot of a husband, had the brilliant idea of making chocolate desserts for Lily and James' New Year's/Christmas party. James had wanted one, just like our parents used to throw, except instead of on New Year's eve, they had the party a few days after Christmas. And I think Lily just doesn't want to pick a fight with her husband about a party date. Therefore, with Anna screaming laughter in her high chair, Remus and I were making brownies and chocolate cupcakes.

"Yes?" Moony said innocently. I glared at him, and grabbed my bowl of brownie batter. 'Easy enough to whip up again,' I thought to myself. That being said to myself, I took the whisk off the counter and flung some batter at him. The look of shock on his face was priceless. But, instead of ending it there, he grabbed his flour mixture and swung the bowl in my direction. Flour, salt, baking powder, and anything else he had in there, was all over me; in my hair, on my clothes, in my shoes (how that happened, only Merlin knows).

This was only the beginning of our full out war, which lasted almost an hour. We would have been going on for another hour or more, but Anna started crying for food. I glanced at my watch, and saw it was already 4 in the afternoon.

"Crap, Remus its four o'clock already!" I exclaimed, getting Anna out of her chair.

"Alright, I work on brownies, we don't need cupcakes that bad, right?" He replied, and started cleaning up with non verbal spells.

"Okay. I'll get Anna fed and ready." His answer was a nod, as he worked quickly at the counter. I quickly got some mashed baby food from the cabinet, feeding it to Anna as quick as I could, and got her dressed in a little red Santa dress. After putting her black shoes on her feet, I grabbed my  long sleeve red dress and black boots. I got dressed quickly, made my hair a chestnut brown and wavy. After applying a small amount of makeup, I took Anna from her play pen and down the hall back to the kitchen.

"Almost done, hon?" I said, hugging Remus from behind. He jumped, obviously not expecting me, and nodded.

"Yeah, when the timer goes off its done. I'm gonna get ready." He replied. I nodded, pecking his cheek before he walked out of the kitchen and into our room.

Five minutes or so later, the timer went off and I lifted the brownie pan out of the oven with wand less magic. "This is so much easier then the muggle way." I remarked to myself, reminiscing on my teenage self in my past life. I used to love baking and cooking, and now if I get something to cook or bake without burning it, we literally throw a party. I heard a soft laugh from behind me, and I saw Remus holding Anna in front of the fireplace.

"Ready to go?" Remus asked, pretending to throw Anna in the air, which caused her to screech in joy. I smiled at the sight and held up my index finger for a moment. Magically making the brownies cool, I grabbed a platter from a cabinet and (again) magically cutting them in pieces. Wrapping it with clear wrap, I grabbed the platter and my wand from the counter and walked over to the fireplace.

"You take Anna, I'll hold on to the food?" I said, making myself known. Remus nodded, and stepped into the fireplace. I never appreciated apparating, and so we use floo powder more often then not for traveling.

"The Potter Home, Godric's Hollow!" Remus said, disappearing in a burst of green flames. Taking a deep breath, I stepped into the fireplace after the embers died out.

I repeated what Remus said, and held my elbows in and the platter of brownies tightly in my hands. I had sheathed my wand in the small belt around my waist.

What I walked into at the Potter's, whatever I had expected, that was not it. I saw little kids running around everywhere, and the cause of it being a giant black dog chasing them. I sighed and shook my head.

I quickly located Lily in the kitchen, along with Micheala, Molly, Marlene, Alice, Ari and some other women I didn't distinctly recognize.

"Hey Lil. I brought brownies!" I greeted, and the women all looked at me. It took a second, but everyone suddenly smothered me in hugs and hello's. I replied in similar greetings after putting my platter down.

"Remus running around with James and Sirius?" I asked, once everyone sat down again.

"Yes. I saw them chasing the kids around. It's great because now I don't have to pay attention at every moment. For a while at least." Molly replied. Just after she said that, two red haired devils ran past, something smoking in their hands.

"Goddammit Gred and Forge." I said, earning a disproving glare from Lily and Molly. Alice, Ari and Marlene on the other hand, high-fived me. The differences in the relationships...

I saw James and Remus running after the twins, Remus having worry lines across his forehead, while James looked as if he was egging the boys on. I only sat in my chair and laughed, along with most of the people in the room. Eventually there was an explosion of some sort, and all four boys came through the kitchen again, their faces and shirts covered in black soot. This, of course, only made me laugh harder.

"Three minutes to midnight!" Someone, I assumed Sirius, shouted out of nowhere.  Everyone then grabbed their glasses or bottles of alcohol and crowded in the living room. I found Remus fairly quickly, and on the way scooped Anna up on my hip.

"TEN!" Sirius and James shouted together. Did I mention they were right next to me, and shouted that in my ear? No? Well, that is exactly what happened.

"NINE!" Remus, Michaela, Ari and I joined in.

"EIGHT!" Lily, Molly, Marlene, Alice, Arthur, and Frank joined as well.

"SEVEN!" By this point, everyone, including the kids (meaning Fred, George, Percy, Charlie, and Bill Weasley) had started shouting the countdown.

"SIX!" I faced Remus, mirroring his huge smile.

"FIVE!" James and Sirius made themselves uncomfortably close to my ears.

"FOUR!" They shouted in my ear.

"THREE!" Everyone turned to their spouse or date/

"TWO!" Anna pulled my hair and my earring, which caused me to screech in shock and pain instead of the number.

"ONE!"

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Everyone shouted in sync, and Remus and I had our New Year's kiss, and as did everyone else.

"Happy New Year, love." Remus whispered in my ear, grinning like he won the lottery.

"Happy New Year." I whispered back. We both pecked Anna on the head, and I placed her back on the ground.

I didn't think for a moment of what was happening in the outside world. Nothing about my future, or anyone else's. Nothing about needing to leave, or learning a spell. Nothing about the war. All was well.
