Chapter 42

"Hey Moony. You doing okay?" I replied, putting the book in my bag and grabbing my trunk.

"I'll be fine. The full moons are really getting to me." I sighed sympathetically for him. I felt so bad that he had to endure all the pain. I followed him to the fireplace and off we went to his house.

A few weeks later, I had my school stuff and I was on the train back to Durmstrang. I hadn't written Severus since I left for Remus', and he hadn't written either.

"Jamie! It's 8:30! We have to leave!" Remus yelled down the hallway. I huffed and waved my hands over my messy trunk. I had everything I needed, it's just that I threw everything in instead of folding the stuff. Oops.

"I'm coming I'm coming! We have an hour anyways!" I shouted back, slamming the top down. I grabbed my carry-on and made sure to make as much noise as I could walking down the hall. Stupid one-story cottage place thing.

I heard Remus sigh as I dropped my trunk on the ground next to the fireplace.

"Helloooo Remmieeee," I said dragging out the last letters. He rolled his eyes and continued reading the paper. I huffed and took some cereal from the cabinet. After pouring myself a bowl, I sat at the table across from my godfather, who continued to read the paper.

Before I knew it, the time was 9:00, which meant I had to leave for the train to Durmstrang.

"Remusssss..." I whined, placing my bowl in the sink.

"Jamieeeee..." He whined back. I laughed and continued to tell him.

"Can we goooooo..."

"Get your bag, I'll apparate you." I nodded, saluted him, and skipped off to get my trunk.

Minutes later I skipped back to the kitchen, my trunk dragging down the hall to the kitchen.

"How long does it honestly take for you to get your trunk?" Remus muttered under his breath. I laughed and grabbed his arm, and disappeared on the spot.

About ten minutes after I left Remus (who took forever to let me go as usual), I found Viktor and we went to our usual compartment.

Hours later, we arrived at Durmstrang. We had put our uniforms (a thick dark burgundy shirt with furs and black pants. I decided to put my converse on instead of the needed black shoes) and found our friends, Christopher and Henry (who're brothers), and got in these carriages, similar to Hogwart's.

"I feel like something good and bad are about to happen.  At the same time, you know?" I said offhandedly on our way to the school. Durmstrang is literally look like the hut on the rock from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Except ten times bigger. And I knew about the Tri-Wizard Tournament as I talked about it, I couldn't let on that I knew about it though.

"I know how you feel. I really just want to get out of this snow though. I may be used to it, but that will never mean that I love it." Chris joked. We all knew that he loved snow, it was his absolute favorite. I laughed and Henry followed my lead. Henry was a third year at the time (at twelve years old) and I a fifth year (at fourteen). Chris is my age, so he was in fifth year as well, whereas Viktor was eighteen and in his ninth year. It sounds weird, but Durmstrang is ages eleven to eighteen. So after the tournament, I wasn't going to see Viktor in school. I was upset about that for a while, but got over it back in third year.
