Allow me to bring you up to speed here. Kai and I are having our final duel here in the Heartland Duel Stadium where everyone is watching us. I have 800 LP, and Kai only has 1,400. I guess he really was serious about keeping the lead, huh?

As far as cards on the field, we both have one monster in play, but neither of us have any facedowns. And now, we're at the end of third turn, aka Kai's turn.

"I end my turn."

As Kai ended his turn, I did my best to stand back up.

"Now, go ahead and make your next move if you know what's good for you!" Kai said.

I managed to stay back up, and I got my game face back on.

"It's my turn!" I said and drew the top card from my deck.

(Y/N)'s hand: 2 -> 3

I looked at my hand. And maybe, if I play my cards right, I can turn this duel around.

"I activate the effect of Chronical Dragon in my GY!"

"From your GY?! Since when was that in there?"

"I discarded it when I used Dark Virus Dragon's effect, and it's a good thing, too." I said. "Since I have a dragon-type monster on my field during my standby phase, I can Special Summon it from my GY!"

I brought back Chronical Dragon and put it in ATK mode.

"Next I summon Razor Blade Dragon!"

"With Razor Blade's effect, you take 500 points of damage for every other dragon on my field."

With two other dragons on my field, that's 1,000 points of effect damage to Kai, or so I thought...

"Psychic Sword Dragon's second effect activactes! Once per turn, by using one overlay unit, I can negate all of the effect damage!"

Psychic Sword Dragon used the one overlay it had to stop the effect of my Razor Blade Dragon. However, I wasn't going to stop just yet.

"Next I overlay my level 4 Chronical Dragon and Razor Blade Dragon to build the overlay network!"

I created the overlay network and summoned my XYZ monster.

"I XYZ summon! Rank 4! Meteor Core Dragon!"
