Aaron

"Get the fuck away from us!" I whisper-yell not moving trying my best not to wake up Aria who's sleeping on my chest.

Dylan was two feet away from us trying to convince me it's a good idea to have a 'talk' with Aria. I don't give two shits about what he has to say to her.

"Dude this has nothing to do with you!" Dylan throws back.

This guy is pissing me off.

"Why are you even here?" I asked him.

"Because I have free will?"

I rolled my eyes, "well you aren't talking to her so go back to fixing your eyebrows now" I hush him away.

He frowned crossing his arms, "I'm only going because she's not waking up, but I am coming back!" He tells me before walking off.

I hope he trips on air.

As if god heard my prayer, Dylan falls face flat on the ground and a group of girls start laughing at him.

Loser.

I look down at Aria on my chest and I spot a smile on her face.

"Aria?" I start.

She doesn't say anything just smiles even more.

"Have you been faking being asleep this whole time?" I asked the obvious.

She lets out a small giggle before sitting up and now my chest feels cold.

"What are you talking about?" She fake yawns.

She's adorable.

A notification from my phone brings my attention away from Aria.

'March 16th. I warned you' the message read.

It's from an unknown number.

That's really smart Dylan. I block the number putting my phone on silent and back into my pocket not wanting to deal with anymore distractions.

"You okay?" Aria asked unwrapping a cupcake.

"Yeah why?"

"You seem concerned"

"I just don't like Dylan" I shrugged.

Arianne.

I help Aaron put our bags into the trunks and get into the passenger seat. You'd think that because it's March, the weather would start getting warmer. But it hasn't. I mean, sure, the weather was nice for a couple of days, but it's still freezing in the mornings.

Aaron throws his hoodie at me as he starts the car. I laugh at his small gesture and put it on, grateful for the extra warmth. Unfortunately, we are running late today, so we can't stop for coffee like we always do before school.

We arrive at the school a little later than the rest but manage to make it in time for the bus distributions. It still feels weird knowing we're going to New York. I've only been here for seven months, and now we're embarking on a trip to a different state.

I take a seat next to Lana on the bus who's dead asleep. She's resting her head on a pillow she brought with. Amy and Tessa are a seat behind us. Chase and Aaron are childishly playing an offline car game on Aaron's iPad. The teachers gets on the bus counting the students before telling the bus driver it's time to go.
