Arianne
Three.
It wasn't his voice that made me flinch but rather his words. Why can't he realize words actually hurt.
'Or you can go fuck off' well he can go fuck himself.
I'm leaving.
"Fine. Have fun," I told him, frustration taking over me.
I don't know how I'm making my way back—considering I don't have a car nor do I know the way. If I get kidnapped; it's Aaron's fault.
The streets were kind of creepy and it's not even night yet. I took my phone out of my pocket to check the time,
4:56pm
I hated these hours of the day.
I found myself near the beach; it was beautiful. You're telling me that dickhead could've took me here? God he is an asshole.
Looking at the beach I thought to myself—why don't I just give myself the tour?
I crossed the street to get closer. The view was absolutely stunning. The wind blew my hair, and I closed my eyes taking in the feeling of the breeze.
I think it's the fact that I'm here. That's making it better.
I took off my shoes and socks to go in the sand—I hated it when sand filled in my shoes.
I sat down not taking in thought that my black jeans are most likely going to be all sandy from the back.
I wonder what my parents are doing right now.
Do they even miss me?
Should I call them? I kind of miss them.
Hesitantly, I found my fingers making their way to my father's phone number.
I held up my phone to my ear waiting for the beeping to stop.
When it does a sense of relief filled me—until the phone goes straight to voicemail.
There's still my mom right?
Nope. Her phone goes straight to voicemail too.
It's okay, Arianne. You're literally in North Carolina. I watched the sun set before getting up. There was a stand not far from where I was standing so I decided to walk over there and buy me some water.
"Good evening, gorgeous," the guy working at the stand greeted.
"Hi, can I have one water?" I asked.
"Anything for you," he replied with wink.
Ew.
He handed me the water and I gave him a dollar.
Let's continue our surprise tour;
Walking away from the beach a bunch of cars pass by—rich cars—I'm guessing everyone here is rich. I'm pretty sure the Kingstons are too judging from their house.
They're so sweet I don't why Aaron turned out to be a complete ass. I thought that maybe because I'm not his parents he'd put down that shitty attitude.
It's not even his attitude that bothered me it's the way he was treating me like some kid his aunt told to babysit.
After walking for thirty minutes I started to regret it because I am lost—very lost. And I don't have any internet on my phone to use google maps. I don't even remember the address anyway. I should've stayed with Aaron and his friends.
