I nudge Aaron a bit harder to wake him up. This guy is deep sleeper

"Aaron it's almost eight!" I reminded him.

I'm so fucking excited.

Aaron stretched from his bed trying to find the motivation to get out of my comfortable bed. When he does get up he stretches a bit more.

I look at him, disappointed on how slow he's being.

We both go to get ready quickly and meet again downstairs in the kitchen for breakfast.

"Eat something it's going to be long drive before we stop for food" Aaron tells me.

I nod getting myself a bowl to make cereal and remind Aaron to also eat.

"I'm so excited" I said, grinning.

He just smiled at me. Probably annoyed from how jumpy I'm being. But I can't help it I'm excited.

This is like my first roadtrip with friends.

Amy, Lana and Tessa are also coming like how can I not be excited.

Aaron stops at Tessa's house and I text her telling her I'm out. A couple seconds later all three of them walk out of the house with their backpacks and Aaron opens the trunk for them.

They greeted us as they got in the car.

"So this is Aaron?" Tessa teased as if she doesn't see his face everyday at school. My cheeks flushed red.

"Nice to meet you" she tells him.

He says the same before driving off to Chase's place I assume.

The girls and I start conversing about the places we want to go in Chicago or want to visit there. Aaron isn't with us in the conversation but I can tell he's listening.

"What's up party people" Chase gets in the car.

"Why do you have three bags?" Tessa asked.

"Because I need them" he tells her in a 'duh' tone.

Tessa and Amy scoot in for him so he's now sitting by Lana who's somewhat better than last time I saw her. She isn't completely quiet anymore. They already knew Chase from school since he's pretty popular

"Can we get coffee?" Amy asked.

Aaron says yes and goes to the nearest Starbucks.

I turn back to get everyone's order before me and Aaron get out of the car to order in person. The drive through was filled with cars. Probably college students who majored in things where they get zero sleep.

"Hi welcome to Starbucks what can I get for you?" The barista says the famous line.

I smiled "uh can we have one, pink drink, small" I read off of my notes app.

"Two ice shaken white mochas, medium"

"One iced Carmel macchiato"

"And one cold brew" I finally said, out of breath.

The barista nods at me before telling me the price. She looked at Aaron smiling taking an interest in him I guess. I mean who wouldn't.

I hand her the handful of cash I collected. From everyone including mine.

Aaron just sort of stands there the whole time.

The next time the barista comes back with our drinks and a piece of paper that she hands Aaron.
