Arianne
Today it is our group who attends the college counseling session, while the other group went on the same tour we went on yesterday.
Chase and I snuck out the hotel in the morning to get coffee before we were supposed to get on the bus. No one noticed thankfully. Even though we had the cups in our hands on the ride their.
We were at an auditorium, a bunch of students who aren't from our school were sitting at the back. We joined them taking our seats waiting for the thing to start.
A teacher started talking introducing herself before talking for two hours straight.
I've never wanted to sleep so bad.
When the session ended we still couldn't leave the place because it started to rain. Chase took this as an opportunity to watch a show on his phone while I took it as a chance to sleep.
After an hour the rain had stopped and we'd all got up to go on the bus again. Our teacher informed us that we'd stop to get food and we all felt a sense of relief having not eaten anything all morning.
A paper and pen was passed around. You write your name and the order you want. When we reached our destination our teacher and the bus driver got off the bus to get our orders. They were paying using the food money everyone paid before the trip.
"Wake me up when the food comes" Chase tells me getting comfortable besides me to sleep on the window.
I go on my phone until the food comes. There are a bunch of unread messages from Tessa and Amy talking about the party we're supposed to go to tonight.
If I'm being completely honest I don't feel like I'll enjoy it as much as them. Crowds and loud music were never my type of scene. I've always preferred being alone in some quiet place. Preferably my room.
It's where I feel most comfortable.
Being at a place where a lot of people are present like a party is so socially draining. Think about it. I'll have to socialize for over two hours with people I don't even know. It might seem fun for the first hour but I'd get overwhelmed by the next. Wanting to go home away from everyone else.
Tessa and Amy won't suffer from this because they're extroverts. Even Lana likes these type of stuff.
But for some reason, something in me won't back down from going to this party. I can just tell the others I want to stay in our room but I won't.
And who knows maybe I will enjoy it.
The teacher and bus driver get back on the bus with paper bags in their hands. I tap on Chase's shoulder to wake him up and he immediately sits up. The teacher gives everyone their orders looking at the bags to check the name written on them to make sure it's the right one.
We all eat while heading back to the hotel.

"I'm so excited!" Lana exclaims to me curling her hair.
I'm sitting on the bed with my legs crossed watching her get ready. I still haven't started getting ready, feeling too nervous to start.
I don't even know what to wear.
"Do you think is should do a Smokey eyes?" She asks me, turning to look at me.
"No I like how you did your makeup" I tell her honestly.
"Why haven't you gotten ready yet?" She asks me when she realizes I'm still in my pjs.
"I don't know what to wear" I tell her.
