Aaron

Rage fills in me. And without even thinking I don't hesitate before my fist flies out and connects with his jaw, sending him flying back.

"Who the fuck do you think you are calling my mother a whore?" I give him another punch.

He lunges back, "that's what she is isn't she huh?"
"Why else would a married woman throw herself at thirty year old?" Dylan says up close to me.

My eyebrows furrow in confusion. What is he talking about?

I'm about to throw in another punch but he catches it. "You do not want to be catching attention right now. Unless you want the whole world to know?"

"Why are you telling me this." I seethed out.

"Because I'm gonna give you a chance to back off," he says smiling.

What?

"Back off from what?" I almost yell from frustration.

"Ari"

My jaw tenses and I'm back to throwing another punch. "Get her name out of your fucking mouth, you woman objectifier!" I hold him by his shirt.

He pushes me back, "hey! I'm the one in control here!"

"You do not want your girl finding out her sweet little boyfriend's mom isn't who she seems to be. And her son willingly hid it."

Holy crap he's right

Oh my god.

"What do you want me to do? Break up with her so you could get with her?" I say jokingly.

"I'm glad we understand each other so well"

"No."

"You want her to find out? Hell you want everyone else to know? Good luck getting scouted then" he tries walking away.

I pull him back.

"Wait."

"Cut things off with her. Break her heart. And no one has to know. You have until prom night."

That's two weeks. No way.

"You're sick you know that right?"

"Nah I'm generous. I'm giving you time"

"You think she'd go out with you if I leave her?"

He just chuckles. "Anyone would leave you, your own parents are proof."

He taps my back before starting to walk away. "Good luck with the second half."

I don't get a chance to process anything because the team is already walking out. With excitement and anticipation.

"Let's go tigers!" Coach cheers.

Chase catches up to me. "Hey, where were you?"

"With Aria," I lie, although I don't sound convincing.

I don't try very hard to hide the anger I'm feeling right now. As we walk back to the court all the hype I was feeling earlier just disappeared.

Coach spots me and signals for me to walk over to him. Kill me now.

"Now I don't know why you're acting like there is something up you ass but I want you to channel that into the game. We cannot afford to lose because of something personal"

I just nod, "wont let you down, sir"

As I walk back to where my team is standing I see Dylan sitting close by Arianne. She isn't aware of his presence. He's giving me a smirk thinking he won.
