A few minutes later...
Toji Fushiguro, a prominent and well-respected figure in the world of sorcery, tragically met his demise at the hands of Satoshi. The shocking incident left Kuroi, Riko, and Suguru feeling disbelief and sorrow for Satoshi. Suguru knew better than anyone how Satoshi would think about it. In the aftermath, Kuroi carefully led Riko towards the elevator, shielding her from the harrowing and unsettling scene. Meanwhile, Suguru stands beside Satoshi, who is observant of Kuroi and Riko's actions in the aftermath of the tragic event.
"So, it's finished, then?" Suguru asked.
"It's finished." Satoshi answered.
Satoshi noticed Riko and Kuroi were heading towards the elevator instead of Riko assimilating with Tengen-sama and decided to ask Suguru to confirm it. "So, she want to live her life?" his soft smile betraying a hint of relief that an innocent child would not have to bear the burden of such a life-altering choice.
"Yeah." Suguru smiled back, a hint of sadness visible in his eyes as he glanced at Satoru. Suguru noticed the fleeting glimmer of sadness in his friend's eyes and instinctively placed a supportive hand on his shoulder, a gesture of comfort and understanding, as both sorcerers made their way towards the elevator.
The group is in the elevator, heading up to the surface. An awkward silence filled the air until Satoshi interrupted it. "Amanai-chan?" Satoshi asked to attract her attention, and he notices Riko was looking down at the floor.
"Yes, Satoshi-kun?" Riko asks her white-haired friend.
"We'll need to fake your death for the Star Religious Group, so they'll no longer come after you," Satoshi informed the group. Despite Riko Amanai's refusal to merge with Tengen-sama, the members unanimously understand that the Star Religious Group will continue to pose a threat to Riko's life. This is a concerning issue that needs to be addressed to ensure Riko's safety and well-being.
Kuroi was the first to ask Satoshi for details about this. "How would you suggest you do that? They won't exactly be convinced until they see a body."
Satoshi places a hand on his chin to quickly think of a plan. "Then we give them a "Body." We'll wrap her body with some fake blood plastered on the sheets."
"You think that'd work? What happens if they ask for details?" Suguru asked, since he was concerned about the Star Religious Group's reactions and the possible consequences.
Satoshi reassured Suguru. "It'll be fine. Suguru, seriously, I guarantee the moment we parade Amanai-chan's "Corpse" around, the last thing on their minds would be to question whether she's dead; they'll be too relieved. Add to the fact that they'll receive the announcement that the merger never took place, and they won't have any doubts; Amanai-chan here can start living the life she wants without worrying." Satoshi smiled as he rubbed the top of Riko's head, making her happy and relieved.
As the group sets off towards Jujutsu High, the sun rises, and the sky is painted with a beautiful golden tone. As they take in the stunning view, they see a familiar figure standing before them. The person stands tall and firm, drenched in crimson, with splotches and droplets of blood covering every inch of it.
