Days later...
Nobara and Megumi, two students of Jujutsu Tech, were currently standing beside a vending machine, taking a break from their busy day to quench their thirst. They had been running errands all morning, and were finally getting a chance to relax. Nobara was looking stylish in her brand new tracksuit, while Megumi was dressed in his training gear that his father had gifted him.
As they stood there, Nobara couldn't help but complain about the lack of vending machines in the area. "Couldn't they put in a few more vending machines?" she grumbled.
Megumi, ever the practical one, replied, "They can't. There are only so many workers who can come in here." Megumi states.
The two of them continued chatting, enjoying the brief respite from their busy day.
(Meanwhile, Tokyo Second Years)
The three second-year were strolling along side by side, deep in conversation about the two new first-year students.
"Huh? Where are the first years?" Panda asks.
"On errands." Maki answers.
"Bonito flakes." Toge answers.
"Will they be okay?" Panda questions.
"Salmon." Toge states
"They're not three years old. If Ryuji can take care of himself here, I'm sure those two can. They can handle an errand run." Maki responds.
"No, that's not what I mean. It's today, right? The day Kyoto's principal comes," Panda asks. This statement catches Maki's attention; the trio is starting to put the pieces together for what that implies. The Kyoto students are almost certainly arriving too." To go over the exchange event." Panda finishes.
"Tuna." Toge agrees.
"Satoru-sensei and Satoshi-sensei are fighting with the higher-ups because they arranged for the first-years to get dispatched on that special-grade case, right? And the principal of Kyoto is one of those higher-ups, isn't he? So if they run into each other..." Panda implied, indicating how hostile the event might actually end up being.
"The first year they were targeting Itadori, Who they believe to be dead at the moment. I doubt he has any plans to do anything about the other two. Satoshi-sensei would step in at that point if that were the case, and the higher-ups know that too. Besides, the old man from Kyoto won't cause a scene in broad daylight." Maki explains.
"Salmon." Toge says.
"An instructor might have something to worry about, but that's not the case for the students." Panda says.
Maki stops walking after hearing this. "Are you saying Mai is coming?" Maki asks.
"It's just a guess. Students aren't necessary for a meeting. But still... They love harassing us, right?" Panda says. At that moment, the trio decides to search for Nobara and Megumi; they're expecting the Kyoto students.
(Meanwhile, Megumi)
Todo and Mai are seen standing directly across from Nobara and Megumi. Mai was showing a little bit more muscle than she had a few months ago. Megumi could sense that Todo was rather powerful.
"What are you doing here, Zen'in-senpai?" Megumi asks, surprised to see the pair.
Nobara turns to Megumi, surprised as well. "Oh, she's one, too?" Nobara asks.
"They do seem similar. Are the sisters?" Nobara asked.
"They're twins." Megumi casually answers.
"Don't call me that, Megumi-kun. You make me sound the same as Maki. Call me Mai." Mai responds, slightly irked to be associated with Maki. Winking at Megumi.
