Shibuya City...
11:14 PM Dogenzaka, In front of Shibuya 109...
Satoshi and Sukuna had just finished their brawl, finishing off with a heart-to-heart with each other. For Sukuna, he had finally reunited with his son—in a way. Satoshi, on the other hand, for reasons unknown to him, saw this very moment as his biggest failure.
Yuji was finally taking back his body, which Sukuna could feel. The markings on his body slowly ebbed away while the Divine One, Satoshi, closed his eyes. A solemn expression laced the man's face. He couldn't help but feel pity for both Yuji and Sukuna, but for very different reasons.
Yuji finally returned, regaining his bearings as the memories of Sukuna's actions flashed throughout his mind—the slaughter that Sukuna had just committed.
Yuji was in complete despair. The teenage boy looked behind Satoshi to see all of the destruction that Sukuna was responsible for, though the poor boy blamed himself for this.
He collapsed, spewing his guts out. Satoshi had knelt beside the poor, helping him get this out of his system. The thoughts of quotes that have pushed him to the point rang through his head.
"I'm wondering why I have to be executed."
Yuji began crying his heart out, muttering to himself, "Just...die already."
"I already know how I'm gonna go out."
Yuji started clenching his head in despair; his tears dropped to the ground as he began shouting out loud, "Just me! Just me!"
"When it's your time to go, make sure you're surrounded by others."
"Die! Now!" Yuji screamed.
Satoshi took it upon himself to gently grab the poor boy's head, placing it on his shoulder and trying his best to console the kid. He understood completely what he was going through in this moment, as he was going through it too.
Satoshi gently raised Itadori's head as the man looked directly at him.
"Look at me, kid, it's not your fault." Satoshi said, laced with such a soothing voice.
"At this rate, I'm nothing but a murderer." Yuji meekly said.
"No, you're not. Sometimes life's just too unpredictable to have regrets. If there's anyone to blame, it's Sukuna. He's the one responsible for all this, not you. Stop listening to that voice in your head telling you otherwise." Satoshi said, trying his damnedest to reassure Yuji.
Yuji nodded his head, and he finally regained his composure. "We need to fight."
"I need to check on everyone else. You go on ahead; I'll meet up with you later." Satoshi said.
The teenager nodded his head in understanding. Yuji and Satoshi separated from one another for the time being, with Yuji heading towards Shibuya Station while Satoshi decided to go check on the other sorcerers.
(Moments later, Nanami)
Out of pure willpower, Nanami dragged himself along the corridors of Shibuya Station. Half of his body was burned out; only the intense adrenaline was keeping this man in the fight. He slowly walked down the stairs, reminiscing about his life.
The slow footsteps could be heard by Mahito, who was chilling on his lonesome in the photo booth.
The hordes of transfigured people were all at the end of the stairs, turning to face Nanami. The half-burnt man took a deep breath as he was softly speaking to himself "Malaysia...Yeah Malaysia...Kuantan would be nice."
