Todo and Yuji were fighting Mahito; they had pushed him to the point that he was in an all-or-nothing situation. This situation led Mahito to use his Domain Expansion: Self-Embodiment of Perfection.
"It's all or nothing! A Domain Expansion of 0.2 Seconds!" Mahito thought
Todo quickly responded with a simple domain he learned from Yuki Tsukumo, his master. Even faster, Yuji rushed towards Mahito, trying to stop the blue-haired curse from using his Idle Transfiguration by killing him before he could get the chance.
Unfortunately for our heroes, Mahito was the fastest out of the trio, combining the realization of the innate domain and the activation of his cursed technique in a singular process.
Just then, the four demonic eyes appeared, and Mahito was now standing inside Sukuna's innate domain. The Pink-Haired curse was smirking at Mahito; he knew that Mahito had sealed his own death with this foolish move.

"I take it. I'm safe here...Lord Sukuna-sama? It is you we're talking about after all. Surely you've got a little understanding with Itadori." Mahito asked.
Sukuna chuckled at Mahito. "I'll allow it this once; what you do here has no consequence for me. I know you wouldn't dare attempt to kill me, since you'd have the prodigal prince to deal with after all."
"Prince?" Mahito pondered that comment just moments before releasing his domain expansion as quickly as it had emerged.
Todo's left arm was transfigured. Yuji, concerned, ran towards Todo as he called out to him, "Todo!" only for the blue-haired curse to punch Yuji from behind, knocking him to the ground before he charged for Todo.
The pineapple-haired man acted quickly enough by severing his own hand by using his cursed energy. The severed hand then transfigured, showing that Todo had made the right choice. The only problem is that this left Todo defenseless against Mahito's next attack.
"Hey! I just improved that for you!" Mahito said, mocking Todo.
Since Mahito was unable to use his cursed technique for the time being, he chose to use a physical attack, landing a devastating direct hit to Todo's chest with Black Flash. The impact from Mahito's Black Flash sent Todo flying, dealing serious damage to the sorcerer's torso. Blood was gushing out of Todo's mouth as the sorcerer smiled slightly. Despite suffering a direct hit, Todo survives and is able to land on his feet.
Mahito then noticed what Todo did: "You've got to be kidding! He instinctively concentrated all his cursed energy in his stomach to minimize the damage!"
Mahito chose to ignore the mild setback; his cursed technique returned, which pleased the curse. "My technique is back! And he can't clap his hands! Time to end him with idle transfiguration!" The blue-haired man cursed, rushing towards Todo.
