POV: Ash

We landed back in New York early Sunday evening and managed to make it back to the Montauk house before dark. Rose was so excited to see us when we came through the front door, and Romain couldn't contain the excited little one. It felt good to be back on the East Coast and close to my parents. After speaking to Roman, I carried Scarlett and I's bags to our room, while Scarlett chatted with Romain.

"I was able to get a flight out Friday evening, thankfully," I heard Romain say as I entered the den.

"I am glad you will be able to join us for dinner on Thursday, Romain. My parents are looking forward to meeting you."

"I am looking forward to meeting them as well. How many will be attending?"

"Shew, last I talked to Mom, it will be the four of us, my sister Sydney and her husband, Brian, my sister Lauren, her daughters Capri and Erin, Hunter, Melanie, Fenan, Vaness, Adrian, Alex, Lizzie, Jamie, Agnes, Uncle Jack, and I think Lizzie's sisters and Mom maybe joining in on the festivities."

"That's quite a crowd, are you sure it's ok for me to join?"

"Oh please, my Mother lives for the holidays, and this will be the first one in many years that she has her whole family together under one roof."

"Tan we go see Nana and Poppi tomawow. I miss dem."

"Of course we can, my sweet little girl," I said, kissing Rose's little head. "Are you getting tired?"

She cuddled into my chest, nodding her little head. "I sweepy. Ashy tuck me in and wead me a stowy?"

I stood up, holding her little body in my arms, she told her Mom and Dad good night, before I carried her to her room. I tucked her in bed, allowing her to snuggle into my side as I read her story. It didn't take long till she was sound asleep. I kissed her little head and quietly made my way back to the den.

Romain and I enjoyed a glass of scotch, while Scarlett sipped her tea. Our conversation flowed, till we eventually decided we needed a decent night's sleep.

As we settled in our bed, Scarlett snuggled into my side, a soft sigh leaving her lips, making me chuckle.

"You didn't tell me my family was coming too," she said softly.

"I didn't know till Mom told me earlier. I was honestly a little floored, also was not expecting the Olsen clan."

"Thank goodness your parents have that guest house, otherwise I don't know where we would put all these people."

"I know, I always thought that was a waste of money, but they insisted, one day we would need the space. One day I will listen to my parents," I said chuckling.

"Remind me to tell your Mom you said that," she said, as she snuggled closer.

I laughed, kissing her head, "Good night, my love."

"Mmm, Good night lover."

POV: Scarlett

I woke slowly this morning, a certain little man making his presence known. We can't really feel him moving around yet, but I get these fluttering feelings in my stomach, and it makes me smile.

It's getting colder here in the Hamptons, which makes the warm body next to me so comfy. She is like my own personal radiator. As I snuggle closer, I feel another body snuggled into her, and it makes me smile. My daughter curled up on Ash's chest, snoring quietly. I can't get over how much she loves Ash, how attached she has become.
