miami, floridaolivia was slightly tipsy, it was visible from the little wobble in her walk though she tried her best to hide it.
after the stressful afternoon, the brunette felt drained like if she had to process anymore little bit of information her head would explode. so the argentinian turned to her old friend, one who could guarantee her peace of mind even if only for a little while, alcohol.
olivia smiled at lando as she approached the brit in the hotel lobby. the brunette was happy to admit that she had formed a nice friendship with her best friend's teammate.
"whoa liv, are you alright." lando held his hand out for her to take. olivia used the grip to balance herself in her heels.
"yeah, yes perfectly fine." she shrugged him off, "in fact i'm ready to party!"
a bunch of the drivers had decided to go out to a club after the race, when lando found out oscar wouldn't be joining them, on account of taking serena (the pretty journalist) on a date, he invited olivia to go out so she wouldn't be alone in her hotel room.
the brunette stood with the small group of drivers waiting in the lobby; lando, carlos, george, charles and pierre, along with his girlfriend kika, as they waited for their hired car to arrive.
in her peripheral view, olivia spotted a familiar face. her lips perking up slightly as she excused herself from the group sauntering over to serena. the blonde looking beautiful in her short pink dress.
serena didn't seem to notice olivia approaching, she was too busy pacing while on a phone call. the brunette slowed as she reached hearing distance, her smile quickly disappearing when she began to gather some pieces of serena's conversation.
"yes boss, i'll get you a story... i'm waiting for him right now... he's taking me out to some fancy dinner... don't worry boss he's not my type. not like you."
olivia's eyes widened as she performed a swift 180 degree turn, her head spun from the sudden movement mixed with the alcohol in her system but she managed to stead herself and quickly return to the driver group.
"shit." she whispered.
oscar exited the elevator, clad in a suit and tie his hair lay in a natural swoop across his forehead. the mclaren rookie's eyes searched the lobby for the blonde journalist he was meant to meet.
however, his gaze instead landed on another girl, his best friend. oscar was sure his jaw had dropped to the floor as he took in the brunette who stood laughing with lando and carlos.
olivia wore a black and white vintage punk tube top with a black mini skirt. a chanel choker wrapped around her neck, visible when she pushed her straightened hair behind her shoulders.
she looked beautifully hot.
"hey," the aussie's attention snapped to the voice beside him, his eyes focused on the perfectly manicured hand that lay on his shoulder, "ready to go?" serena asked with a smile.
"uh.. yes. just— one second." he excused himself making a beeline for olivia.
oscar cleared his through as she reached beside the girl, olivia's body turning to face him but she didn't seem happy to see him. "uh.. you look gorgeous."
"thanks.. um could we actually talk for a second?" the australian nodded without a second thought following behind olivia like a lost puppy.
"is everything alright? are you alright?" olivia's lips pulled up slightly at his concern.
