Chapter 73
Aria's POV:
"Jason, no." I desperately whisper and try to pull him away letting my arms grasp his. He broke free of my grip and got in closer.
"Let you said earlier, you don't want to see me fight." The man laughed as he turned back to his friends. Jason leaped forward but stopped as I grabbed on more firmly.
"Let's just go." I said as I pulled him away. I can feel my grip loosening but he doesn't free himself.
"You shouldn't have let them disrespect you like that!" He yells. I turn around and his eyes are wide. His face screams anger as he closes his mouth.
"They were just being stupid." I try to rationalize. He scoffs.
"It shouldn't matter," He says, pulling me in close. He lifts up my chin. "They disrespected you and that is never okay."
"No one gets to disrespect my girlfriend." His voice is raspy. I smile lightly.
"Wow," I say, pulling away. He tilts his head and narrows his eyebrows.
"Wow?" He questions. "Why?"
"No one ever said that to me before," I say honestly. His eyes soften.
"What?" He says, shocked. He shakes his head.
"That's unacceptable."
I nod my head, yes. "I know."
"I'm going to show you how amazing you truly are." He says, pulling me into a kiss.
