Chapter 17: Wedding day!

Harry POV:
Over the past couple, of weeks with mum and dad, and Sirius and Remus, and Tonks and Fleur and the whole Weasley's family including Molly and Arthur we had been planning mine and Gin's wedding day and today was that day.
I woke up with a start, Ginny had gone and my alarm went off, wait did I set that... What time is it? I looked at the clock 5:30 AM it read, "what?" I said, I sat up rubbing my eyes, why'd it been set and by who, why so early. Suddenly there was a knock at my door, "come in" I said groggily, Ron who was wearing a suit and dad crept in shutting the door behind them. Dad carried a suit, "morning" Ron said looking excited, "it's your big day!" Dad said putting the suit on Gin's wardrobe, "where's Ginny?" I asked, "don't you remember last night?" Ron asked, "he was probably too drunk" laughed dad, "wha?" I said standing up, my head pounded. "Today's our wedding day, we had a stag party last night and Gin went to a hotel last night with her mum and Hermione" Ron said, "why?" I asked, "so you won't see her until you're getting married" dad said, "oh ok" I said. "Quickly shower and shave you need to get ready!" Ron said, "oh yeah" I said and I ran into the bathroom. I showered and shaved and walked back into the room, "here's your suit lets get you changed" dad said, with his and Ron's help I got dressed into my suit. "Ok James you go downstairs and cook us some breakfast I'll get sorted on Harry's hair" Ron said, "on it" he said running downstairs, I heard talking as Ron sat me down and started to comb and style my hair. He finished and I looked a bit better, Ron had tried to tame my unruly hair but only succeeded in making it only a bit better. "Ron your hair hasn't been brushed!" I said, "uh quick give me a hand" he said, I styled his hair smartly, "thanks mate" he said. We stood side to side in front of the mirror, "look at us, getting married, I can't believe it" Ron said, "we do look fine if I may say so myself" I said putting my hands on my suit, Ron laughed "come on let's eat" I said. We went down where mum, dad, Sirius, Arthur and the Weasley boys waited. "Hey Harry, Ron! You guys look great" Fred said leading us to the kitchen where dad had made us a fry up, "thanks" I said gratefully as we sat down and ate, "aww look at you, I can remember when you were a tiny baby and I was protecting you from Voldemort" cooed mum, "ummm thanks mum" I said with a laugh, "Potter better take care of my sister, yeah?" Charlie said sitting across from me, "will do" I said, "take good care of Hermione too" Lupin said beaming, everything was so great like nothing could go wrong. It was 7:00 by the time I had had breakfast did my teeth, got my shoes, pocket flower, talked to everyone and got myself prepared. "Speech?" Sirius asked, "memorised" I said, "flower pocket?" He asked, "right here" I said pointing to my jacket pocket, "James' cuffs?" He asked, I slid up my sleeve to show two shiny gold snitch cufflinks he wore to his wedding, "breath?" He asked, I breathed at him, "good, ready?" He asked as the limo arrived outside, "I know I am" I said, we all walked outside and climbed in. We held the wedding at a nearby church, it was beautiful. We had a quick pre wedding drink to cool my nerves. The wedding began at 8 and it was already 7:30. People started arriving, Tonks and Fleur, The Weasley's took their seats, Hogwarts staff, Dumbledore, Professor Sprout, Mcgonogall, Proffesor Trelawney, Professor Flitwick, Madam Pomfrey, Slughorn and even Snape. Then teh ghosts came too, Nearly Headless Nick, The Grey Lady, The Fat Friar, Peeves and even Moaning Myrtle. They there was Moody and a some guys from the ministry, there was Tom the Bar man and Hagrid of course, Krum came too Madam Pince must've come in without me seeing, and there was Madam Rosemerta. Then there was our school friends, Neville and Luna, Dean and Seamus, Lavender and the twins, there was Cho much to my disgust, and a few others. There was Hermione's muggle family and a few of her friends. Then Sirius, Lupin, mum and dad had took their seats also. A traditional wizarding priest stepped forwards and I knew the wedding was to begin, Dobby watched from the front row, he sniffles happily. Me and Ron stood in place and I saw Arthur and Hermione's dad were missing. I stood next to Ron and gave him a nervous grin. And the music began, the doors at the back opened, and out came Ginny and Hermione being walked down the aisle by their fathers. I didn't notice though my eyes were fixed on Gin she looked stunning. I couldn't believe my eyes. Her long white dress looked flawless on her, it complimented her every curl, she wore a small tiara on her perfectly pampered vibrant red hair, she wore a small amount of makeup that made her look angelic. My mouth dropped open, she smiled slightly as she stared at me. I wasn't aware of anything else, until Arthur had gave her away to me, he and the Weasley boys gave me the warning glare except from Ron who was staring at Hermione who did look nice, he had the same awed expression as me. We glanced at each other and smiled, yo get married together meant so much, guys may not be all feelings but we both knew how big a deal this was for each other. The priest gave the long speech but I couldn't think straight I just kept staring at Gin and thinking, "wow, she's really mine". Once he finished he turned to me and Gin first and said, "Harry James Potter do you promise to have and to hold, to love and cherish Ginerva Molly Weasley from this day forward?" "I do" I said wanting nothing more than to kiss her, "Ginerva Molly Weasley do you promise to have and to hold, to love and to cherish Harry James Potter form this day forward?" Asked the priest I do" she said, then he turned to Ron and Hermione, "Ron Billius Weasley, do you promise yo have and to hold, to love and to cherish Hermione Jean Granger from this day forward?" He asked "I do" said Ron staring into Hermione's eyes, "and Hermione Jean Granger do you promise to have and to hold, to love and to cherish Ron Billius Weasley from this day forward?" He asked, "I do" she said with a smile, "then I announce you 4 husbands and wives" he said, "you may kiss your brides" he added, I turned to Ginny with a grin, dipping her down and kissing her like there was no tomorrow, I pulled her gently back up to her feet everyone but 3 cheered. We went outside for wedding pictures and the party. We took some photos and music played.
(That morning) Ginny POV:
I woke up at someone tugging at my arm, I smiled thinking it was Harry but jumped up when I heard a voice say, "get up! Come on!" It wasn't Harry's voice. I looked about I was in a room I didn't recognise, Hermione stood watching me excitedly. "Wha?" I asked wearily rubbish my eyes, "it's your wedding days!" Mum said, she stood the other side of the room, "oh- OK!!" I said realising, "get showered quick the bathroom's just there" mum said pointing to a door, I quickly walked in showering and brushing my teeth, I shaved my legs and stuff too quickly with my wand. Hermione was already wearing a dress and mum hastily helped me into mine. "Hermione you do her hair and I'll sort things out" mum said. Her,ion sat me down quickly and brushed my hair gently but efficiently, she curled it, not too much and then. Sprayed some stuff on it, she brushed it and handed me a mirror, "wow! I look amazing! But wait what happened last night and why am I here?" I asked, "last night we had a hens party and got drunk, we came here so Harry can't see you until you're married" Hermione explained patiently as she styled her own hair. "Gin dear here is a tiara that I wore on my wedding" mum said placing on my head a breathtakingly beautiful tiara, it was sparkling with a jewel more precious than diamond. I gasped, "thanks mum!" I said hugging her, "I can't believe my Gin is getting married" she sniffed, I laughed happily. "Ok now let me do your makeup!" She said, she once again sat me down and worked her masterpiece, I gasped at the sight, it was just right not too much or little. Hermione did hers and we grabbed our flowers as the phone rang. Our limo had arrived, we walked down the reception and out into the street to climb in they taxi after paying for the night. We sped to the church I was going to become Ginny Potter in. It was buzzing with people and I walked around to the back, "I'll see you to after the wedding" said mum hugging us both, "ok, thanks" said Hermione, mum left and we looked at each other laughing nervously. "So the Weasley's will gain one and lose another then?" Hermione said, "yeah, but I'll always be a Weasley at heart" I said. Dad and Hermione's dad walked around to meet us, "hey dad" I said, "you look amazing" he replied as Hermione talked to her dad, "thanks daddy, I can't believe this is it" I said, "what do you mean?" He asked, "I've dreamt of this since I was a kid today's the day I marry Harry Potter the man of my dreams" I said. The music started I looked at Hermione nervously, "you ready?" She asked, I nodded confidently, "you?" I asked she nodded and we let our fathers open the doors and begin to walk. My eyes were drawn to Harry, he had cleaned up really well. He wore a smart black suit and waist coat he had long black suit trousers and smart black shoes, he wore a fresh white shirt with two shiny cufflinks and a cool black tie, his hair was less messy than usual and his emerald eyes had widened behind his glasses. His lightning bolt was visible but I liked it. His mouth had dropped open and his eyes were fixated on me, he had shaved and everything and he looked... hot. I was mesmerised by my soon to be husband. Ron stood next to him wearing a matching suit, he had styled his ginger hair well, he looked actually alright for once. He too had shaven but I couldn't see him, my eyes were glued to Harry. I reached him and he smiled at me in the most breathtaking way I've ever seen. Once he kissed me after the wedding rituals everyone cheered. He dipped me down in strong arms and kissed me like they world was ending. The kiss lasted a good 10 seconds and teen he brought me back up carefully. Everyone cheered, all our friends and family and even teachers were there. We went outside for photos and stuff and then Harry led me to the dance floor for our first dance as husband and wife. Everyone joined in around us, "so Mrs Potter..." Harry mused, "Mr Potter" I purred, he kissed me as we swayed with each other. My brothers ran over except Ron who was dancing with Hermione. "Gin you look stunning" Percy said sweetly, I pulled away from Harry, "thanks Percy, can't believe I'm not longer a Weasley" I said "nah your name may be Potter now but you'll always be a Weasley!" George said, "but now she's a Potter means you gotta give her the world" Fred said warningly to Harry, "course I will, I swear! Nothing I wouldn't do for my Gin" he said putting his arm around me, "I think it's great, you two, you're made for each other, don't mean I won't set my dragons on you if you upset her" Charlie said, Harry laughed, "no course not!" He agreed, "well welcome to the family brother" Fred and George said clapping Harry on the back. They separated, Fred and George slunk off probably to cause chaos, Bill went back to Fleur, Percy went to talk to his old Hogwarts teachers and Charlie hit the drinks table. "Congratulations Potter" said Mcgonogall walking over with a smile on her face, "thank you Professor" Harry said proudly, "doesn't mean just because you're married I don't expect yo see you slacking in class" she said with a playful smile, "oh of course not!" I said, "talking of class, are both of you coming back for your final year?" She asked, me and Harry looked at each other, "yes" we said simultaneously, "everyone is, Hogwarts is our home" Harry said, "yeah and I plan to get good grades for I don't know what job I'll get" I said, "and me and Auror need all the knowledge I can get" Harry said, "that's good" beamed Mcgonogall. We danced and drank all night and went back to the Burrow we skipped the honeymoon seeing as summer break finishes soon and the school year will start. I got ready for bed and cuddled up with Harry, "so what will happen tomorrow?" I asked, he kissed my head and I grinned, "who knows, only one way to find out" he said, I chuckled and turned the light off, Dobby scored quietly in the sofa, "goodnight Harry Potter" I said, "goodnight Gin Potter" he whispered and we fell asleep.
