Chapter 15: Ronmione cuteness day and the -

Ron POV:
I woke up and Hermione was asleep for once, she usually gets up early, for no reason other than to be a good boyfriend I decided to make her breakfast in bed, I carefully climbed out of bed making sure not to wake her and pulling the covers back over her. I crept over to try door and quietly opened then shut it again, I ran downstairs and started making a fry up, I hear someone run downstairs, I looked to see who it was, it was Ginny, "hey Gin, what you up to?" I asked flipping over some bacon, "same as you are doing" she said in surprise as she walked into kitchen, "Harry doesn't like fry ups he prefers pancakes" I told her, she raised her eyebrows questioningly at me, "hey he's my best friend!" I said in defence, she shook her head laughing, "what?" I asked, she just rolled her eyebrows and started making pancakes, "so know his favourite topping?" She joked pouring the batter into a pan, "Maple Syrup" I said immediately, "really?" She asked in surprise at how well I knew my best friend, I nodded, "I have known Harry since first year" I said, she shrugged, I pulled out a plate and levitated the bacon, eggs and sausage to a plate, I pulled out some leaves and stuff form the fridge I knew Hermione liked to be fairly healthy, I put the kettle on too, I added a bit of ketchup, salad cream and salt put it on a tray, fan out round the front picked some flowers, cut off the roots and put it on the tray and walked carefully upstairs. I opened the door with my back and saw Hermione sleeping angelically, she stirred as I closed the door and turned on the lights with difficulty, she rubbed her eyes and looked up at me, "Awww" she whispered to herself as she saw me with a tray she sat up and I handed it to her, "love you" I said and kissed her, "aww love you too- wait what did you do?" She asked, "nothing! Can't I just surprise my gorgeous girlfriend?" I asked sticking my hands up, "hmm ok" she said watching me before eating quickly, "hungry by any chance?" I smirked, "shut up" she joked eating, she got up when she was done, "I love you Ronald" she said I stood up and stretched "I love you more 'Mione" I said and kissed her, she leaned up on her tiptoes and kissed me back, she wrapped her arms around my neck after a while and mine around her small waist, it was a nice sweet kiss. "I need a shower, sorry" I said breaking away, "haha yeah, I wasn't going to say anything but..." She joked waving a a hand in front of her nose, "like your one to talk" I joked, she hit my arm, "go shower stinky" she said I rolled my eyes and showered and changed, she jumped in the shower after me. I decided whilst I changed today I would have a romantic day. She came out the bathroom and got changed into some jeans and an army jacket. "You look exquisite" I said with difficulty it was a big word, "ok where'd you learn a word like that?" She asked, I shrugged, "dunno" I said simply, "what do you want to do?" She asked shaking off my big words, "uhh I don't mind, I've got to feed the chickens first before we do anything though" I said, she nodded, "ok let's go feed the chickens" she said, she walked over to me, kissed me on her tiptoes and slid her hand in mine, I smiled at her "have you even seen my chickens?" I asked, "no why?" Hermione asked, "you'll see" I replied smiling. I jogged downstairs with Hermione at my heels, I ran in the kitchen and opened the cupboard under the sink and grabbing the bucket for feeding. "Come on then" I said grabbing her hand again, "what's wrong with your chickens??" She asked worriedly, "you'll see" I said with a smirk, "but Ronnnn" she whined, "but 'Mioneeee" I imitated her, she hit my arm, "you're mean" she sulked, "no because we're here now" I said as we walked into the coop, the chickens looked at us and clucked, "what did you mean? They seem perfectly normal to me!" She said, "for now watch this" I said letting them all out they ran about, I went to the feeding bag on the wall dipping my bucket in filling it with seeds, the chickens heads shot up, they stared at me clicking loudly as they advanced onwards me. I chucked a handful of seeds towards them, they ran towards it, viciously pecking at each other to get to it, they are it up quickly they turned to me again clucking expectantly. "I see what you mean now" she said looking at them in surprise as they practically jumped over each other to reach it, "your telling me I had another brother once, he forgot to feed them he never came back when he went to feed them" I said convincingly, "really?!?" She said in horror, I nodded grimly before breaking into laughter "I hate you!!!" She said hitting my arm, "nah you love me" I teased, she rolled her eyes, I grabbed her arms and kissed her, she touched my cheek as we kissed. Until I broke the kiss, "what?" She asked, "go to my room" I said softly tucking a strand of curly hair behind her ear, "why?" She asked, "trust me" I told her, she looked up into my eyes for a second. "Fine" she gave in, she kissed me before running back into the house, I waited for long enough until I decided she'd gone up to my room before I walked back to the house as well, I locked the kitchen door and grabbed a wicker basket I knew was in one of the cupboards, I packed sandwiches, two apples, two chocolate frogs and a flask of cool pumpkin juice. I took my wand out, "tropala te neeso!" I cried pointing my wand at it, it disappeared, "hopefully this'll work" I muttered, "hopalta te nesso!" I cried pointing my wand at the thin air, I put my wand down and pulled out of the air the basket again, I repeated the spell to make it disappear. I unlocked the kitchen door after checking my pocket to make sure it was still there,the biggest surprise of all, and then ran up to my room, I opened the door Hermione was sitting on my bed, "why'd you- hmph!!" She started before I rushed over to her kissing her cutting her off, when I broke away again she looked at me questioningly "would you like to go for a walk? Just the two of us?" I asked, her eyes lit up she nodded eagerly, "where to?" She asked standing up, "nearby" I said, she nodded. We ran downstairs and ran outside, I grabbed her hand and we walked towards the huge wheat field, I took her down a path next to the field, it was right next to the old oak trees. The warm summer breeze hugged us and rippled through 'Mione's hair making her look as beautiful as always, "you're so cute" I said, she blushed looking even cuter "thanks you're handsome" she said looking up into my eyes, I chuckled and kissed her softly, she bit her lip in an adorable way when we broke apart but a smile tugged at her mouth, "I love you so much" she said and held my hand loosely, "I love you way more" I said with a smile, "do you remember when we first met?" She asked with a laugh, "yeah, I remember that..." I said thoughtfully

"Had anyone seen a toad? A boy named Neville's lost his?" A female voice asked as I lifted my wand, I looked up, a smallish girl with bushy hair stood there, she had her hand on her hip and her eyebrows were raised, she had pretty hazel eyes and a small nose but I definitely wasn't attracted to her!!! "no" I said in annoyance, "oh are you doing magic? Let's see then" she said in that annoying kind of I bet you're rubbish way. She was annoying, I scowled and recited the spell nothing but a small puff and smoke came out of the wand, "are you sure that's a real spell? Well it's not very good" she laughed in a very so and so way. This made me slightly angry, "- I've only tried simple spells but they've all worked for me" she said, she walked in front of Harry, sure come on in then annoying prat I thought angrily, "for example Occulus Repairo!" She said pointing at Harry's cracked glasses a wisp sprung out and attached to the now fixed glasses, once it disappeared they were shiny new looking. I bit down on a liquorice wand in an annoyance I had a feeling she was a brainiac. "Holy cricket, you're Harry Potter! I'm Hermione Granger" said the annoyance in surprise, "and you are?" She looked at me in disgust as I stuffed my mouth to stop myself saying something, "I'm Ron Weasley" I said trying not to say what I was thinking, "pleasure" she said with a frown, "you two better change into your robes I expect we'll be arriving soon" she said turning on her heel as she left. I raised an eyebrow to Harry like can you believe her??!? Annoying that's what she is. I had no idea what she was the love of my life...
"Haha yeah, I remember you were using some dumb spell....Fred gave you" her voice tailing off as she half grinned half frowned, "and you were being so annoying" I said, she hit my arm, "only joking, love you dear!!" I said quickly, she raised her eyebrows before pecking my lips. "Hey remember that time when you got scared when we rode the dragon out of Gringotts so clung onto me really tight in a cute way?" I laughed, "shut up" she said jokily shoving me playfully, "it's true, it was sweet" I said looking down at her a smile tugging at my mouth, "you're sweet" she countered, I smiled and draped my arm around her shoulders, she leaned her head into the crook of my arm. I looked up at the sky, the sun was a bit past noon position, "Hey want a tree climbing competition?" I said pointing to a tall oak a bit in front of us, Hermione's eyes lit up, "yeah come on!" She said shrugging my arm off and pulling me by my hand, I chuckled, we arrived at the base of the tree. "3, 2, 1, Climb!!!" I said, I leapt onto a branch and started pulling myself up, I heard a rustle of leaves, I looked beside me but in surprise I saw her feet going steadily upwards. I whistled, "you're experience" I said trying hard to catch up with her, "yeah as a little girl my parents were boring so I climbed trees" I heard Hermione say, "what?!? I love your parents!" I said through gritted teeth as I scraped my cheek on a sharp branch. I was only about 5 feet off ground. "Really?! Well it's not like I don't like them I love them but I wish they were ore like yours" she answered, I shrugged, "fair enough" I said. We climbed in silence for a bit, I caught up level with her, but lost time when I nearly over balanced on a wobbly branch. "Make it to that thick branch?" She asked, "you're on" I said with a smirk, I nearly made it but Hermione was already there practically. Suddenly I heard a snap of twigs, "AAAAHHHH!!" Screamed Hermione I saw someone falling down, I leant my back as close as I could to the tree then caught her, she looked at me in surprise, "careful there" I said with a smirk, she was in my arms marriage style. "Thanks for catching me" she said looking into my eyes, "I'll always catch you when you fall" I said cheesily, she smiled and tilted my chin down to kiss her with one finger. We kissed a minute before she hopped out of my arms, "thanks Ronald" she said before climbing quickly up again, I stood there in surprise for a few seconds before scrambling up quickly after her. I poked my head over the branch as I climbed up to it, Hermione sat there looking very pleased with herself, "I win" she said grinning, "whatever you tricked me" I said but a smile tugged at my lips, "aww did you want a kiss?" She asked jokingly sympathetic, "yeah and I intend on getting one" I said jumping onto the branch next to her, sitting down and taking Hermione in my arms, "oh do you now?" She said smiling and looking at my lips as I held her, I cut her off kissing her. It was a good kiss, I broke apart after a bit and put her back down gently next to me. She smiled, and I pulled her close to me again, she snuggled her head into my neck, we looked at the cool view, we had climbed pretty high, we could see everything, the whole of the field below us, the oak trees lining behind us, a. Faint line of buildings in the distance as the city started, we could see the burrow in it's fall beauty. You could see Ginny's room through her window also, there was an outline of two people, one of them leaning up on their tiptoes to kiss the other, Harry and Ginny must be in there. "What a beautiful view" said Hermione pulling me out of my train of thought, "it is jot as breathe view next to me is" I said stroking her hand with my thumb, she laughed, blushing and playfully slapped my arm. "I've had a great time" she said happily, "it's not over yet" I told her pulling my wand out my pocket, she looked about as if expecting something to appear from the top of the mighty oak. I shook my head smiling, "hopalta te nesso!" I cried waving my wand at the air in front of us, "what?" She asked in surprise, I held my finger up like wait, I pulled the picnic basket out of the thin air I cast they spell. She gasped, "I don't know that spell!!" She said, "I do know some stuff" I said with my eyebrows raised, I put the basket down and we tucked in, "this is so kind and sweet!!!" Hermione said, "I knew you'd like it" I said being careful to not stuff my face or be disgusting, "aww and the sun's going down!!!" Hermione squealed excitedly as they sky started turning pink and orange, I smiled to myself. "Yeah just in time, we finished so we can enjoy the sun set" I said, she nodded, I stood up and offered her my hand, she took it and I stood, we stood there watching the sunset together, my arm wrapped around her. I watched as the sun went down, and when the sky looked so beautiful, I knew it couldn't look better I put my hand in my pocket and got down on one knee. Hermione looked at me with tears in her beautiful eyes shining in the light. "Hermione Jean Granger, you're the love of my life and I couldn't find someone better or someone I should be together more than you if I tried. I love you so much and have for a long while now, we've stuck together through the darkest times and the best. We may not have known in the train so long ago but I know we're meant to be so will you marry me?" I said nervously, I opened the box to reveal a beautiful ring with a diamond infinity sign on a gold band. Tears rolled down Hermione's cheeks, she laughed / sniffed, a wide smile on her face, she nodded slightly, speechless, "yes! Yes I will, I love you so much" she said, I got up and hugged her tight, "I love you too Mrs Weasley" I whispered. She broke the hug and kissed me before I slid the ring on her finger. "This is the most romantic proposal ever" she said, I grinned happily, she's forever mine I thought. "Tropala te neeso!!" I cried pointing my wand at the basket it disappeared, Hermione looked impressed. We climbed down the tree again and ran back to the burrow hand in hand as I recalled how I asked her parents.

I got out of a bus that took me to Hermione's street. Nerves ate me from inside, I pulled out a piece of paper with Hermione's address on it, I looked at it quickly before stuffing it back in my pocket. I slowly walked to number 1 Lincoln Court, where Hermione supposedly lives but she spends her time at the burrow mostly. I composed myself taking deep breaths for a second before knocking on the smart blue door. I heard footsteps inside before the door opened, it was Mrs Granger. "Oh hello Ron! Hermione's not here right now" she said, "I know she's at my house that's not what I'm here for" I said nervously, "who is it dear?" Mr Granger's voice called, "it's just Ronald honey" she replied. Just Ronald?!?! "Well you better come in" said Mrs Granger said opening the door wider allowing me in, "thank you" I said walking in and slipping off my shoes, I know how they felt about shoes, her parents were like Hermione, neat freaks. I followed Mrs Granger into the living room, "oh hello Ron! What are you doing here? Please sit" said Mr Granger motioning to the sofa, he was sat in an armchair by the window reading a newspaper, he put it on two coffee table. "I came to talk to you two Sir" I said sitting down, "Sir! Such respect!" Said Mr Granger, Mrs Granger smiled approvingly at me, "what about dear?" She asked, "Hermione" I said "what's happened is she hurt?" Asked Mr Granger sitting forward, "No! No, she's fine!" I said quickly, "oh what is it then?" Asked Mrs Granger her smile returning, "well I wanted to ask.... For your permission to propose" I said nervously, my heart was in my throat, "propose?" Asked Mr Granger frowning. "Yes, see Sir, I love your daughter very much and we've been best friends since our first year of Hogwarts together, and we've been through a lot but have made it fine, and I really do love her" I said, Mrs Granger exchanged a look with her husband, "take good care of her, Ron" Mr Weasley said, "wait what?!" I asked in surprise, "we give you our blessing" said Mrs Granger, "really?" I asked happily, they nodded, "thank you so much, Ma'am, Sir!" I said jumping up, "how will you do it?" Asked Mrs Granger, I told them my plan. "You better take good care of my little girl, she's a special one our Hermione, so if you ever hurt her, I will find you" said Mr Granger, "I won't, I love her with all my heart and she means a lot to me, she's the reason I get up in the morning" I said, "aww bless you" said Mrs Granger smiling, "the fact that you came down here to ask us shows me you're a good guy" said Mr Granger shaking my hand, "thank you Sir" I said, I shook his hand with a firm grip, I went to shake Mrs Granger's but she hugged me, "you'll be my son in law so what the heck" she said, "haha, thank you Ma'am" I said,

I opened the door to the kitchen, Fred was in there drinking a cup of tea he was still in his business suit meaning he probably just got home. "Where have you two been? Ginny tells me you've been out all day" he said his eyebrows raised as he sipped, "go into the living room and you'll find out" I said playfully pushing him, he smiled and walked in, I walked to the hallway, "ALL WEASLEY'S GET YOUR BUTTS IN THE LIVING ROOM I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! YOU TOO POTTER!!!!!" I called, I walked in the living room and the others came in, "what this about lil bro?" Asked Percy, "I have an announcement" I said, holding Hermione's hand, "what???" Asked Ginny curiously, I held up Hermione's hand to show the ring, Hermione beamed happily. Everyone gasped, "that's great news!!!" Said mum hugging Hermione tightly, "oof" Hermione gasped, "let the girl breath" said George with a smirk, mum let go of a very surprised Hermione who's face neatly turned purple. "Geddon little brother!!!" Said Fred high fiving me, "little Woniekins has grown up" said George pretending to wipe his eyes, "my congratulations" Percy said, "oh that's really wonderful Ron" said Ginny hugging me, I smiled she hugged Hermione too, "well done mate, be good to her" said Harry, "and you to my sister" I said, we man hugged. "Thanks everyone" me and Hermione said, we had a great snack to celebrate.
