Chapter 15: Some good Drama.

Hai everyone,

I feel good and more peaceful today. I had drama and it was about waste and trash. You had to made up a scene about trash and you had to pick a genre. I was in a group of four, with Anna, Lara (yes, same name) and Art. We picked Drama, I said that it maybe would be fun if it wasn't about waste, but about how we can sometimes treat each other like trash even if we're not. There were 2 bullies, and they also played the teachers. Lara and Anna where the bullies. Art was the one who was bullied and treated like trash, but he wasn't alone because I was there to save him and made him laugh, I was his imaginary friend Gozelina. It was based on a book called Gozert, from Pieter Koolwijk. It's a good book, but not much people have actually read the books. To suddenly discover that almost my whole drama club did read it, even the guys!

So Art was being bullied, but I made him laugh because I danced around the room and pretended I could fly, I stuck out my tongue out to the bullies because they could "not" see me. I pretended I was as bitchie as them and it was really fun. I could just be weird and act strange, because I was Gozelina, I had a beautiful cape. And I made the watching kids laugh. But then Art would be kicked out of school if he didn't stop laughing about me. He screamed at me that I had to go away and never come back. In the and Gozelina was the one who was treated like trash, because she was not real. I ran away "crying" and then the stage was empty, and no one did go back so I ran at the stage and jumped and screamed: 'THE END!!!!' We got a huge applause and everyone was really enthusiastic about the original idea to not directly do something with waste of plastic, no we showed them how the world works and how we treat each other.

It was so fun to do, because I was not acting like I was Gozelina. No I WAS Gozelina. I am the most experienced kid there and they really look up to me, it's really funny sometimes, they sometimes don't dare to talk to me and I am only a year or more older. They liked our scene most and the teacher too. The others where fun too, and I really love drama, I really do.

The book Gozert is a book I can identify myself with a bit, because it's about how the world see each other and that people just get the label crazy even if they aren't. It's a wonderful book with amazing drawings from Linde Faas. It's dutch, but if you can read it, it really is a good book.

I am pretty tired right now, but it's a good sort of tired, it's a happy tired.

Also we are going to make a play about the book Lampje from Annet Schaap. It is a really good book and I am super excited to start working on it and practicing my lines.
