Ellie is fairly popular in Lyon. We get stopped a couple of times by fans wanting to take pictures of the Aussie. It's adorable how her face lights up when her fans speak to her. A few came over to me, congratulating me on getting into the Matildas and all. We get into an Uber Ellie called, waving to fans as we speed off into the city.

As we ride through the streets, Ellie points out random little shops she likes going to and basically says she'll take me there. "That's my usual nail shop." She points out, showing off her nails which were painted blue and white for her Lyon team. "I'm planning on changing them for the World Cup. Yellow and teal. Our jersey colours." She says, grinning.

Soon, we make our way to her apartment, thanking the driver before she leads me into the building all while dragging her suitcase and fishing out her keys.

As we make our way inside, I admire the rooms and how tidy they are. "So, here's the living room. Kitchen is there and down this hall...." She trails, walking down the hall before stopping at a room. "Is your room." She says, watching as I walk into the room. It's simply decorated, clearly a guest bedroom as there was nothing personalised around.

"My room is just at the end of the hallways." She says, nodding down the hall. "And from the looks of it, it's not filled with boxes. Daan must have taken her things already." She says, mumbling the last part, but I catch it anyway. I can't tell if she's upset, annoyed or what. But she turns away from the room, looking back at me with a smile again.

I smile, walking forward and hugging Ellie, making her laugh. "What's this for?" She asks, wrapping her arms back around me even though she's confused. "For this opportunity." I say, burying my face into her neck. We stay like that for a bit before she pulls back.

"As much as that's comfortable, we should probably head out for lunch before we starve. I don't think I have much at home." She says as we walk to her kitchen. She opens the fridge, revealing a fairly empty fridge, minus the few essentials.

"I would love to. But I also feel very dirty because I've been in this outfit for more than 24 hours. Literally." I say, grimacing as I pick at my shirt. Ellie just smiles, walking down the hall to her room before returning, tossing me a hoodie and a pair of shorts, which I place on the bed. "Unlike Aussie where it's Autumn, it's spring here and not too cold. So that should be enough for sleepwear...but when walking outside, it might be a little plain." She says before returning to her room to find another outfit.

I look at the hoodie, realise it's an OL themed hoodie with the number 12 on the back along with her name. Her number. "Did you just willingly GIVE me a hoodie?" I ask, smirking at her. She returns, tossing another outfit on the bed. "You realise you're not getting this back." I add. To my surprise, she nods. "I know. Why'd you think I have you a hoodie with my name on it?" She says, stepping closer. "Now you'll have to walk around with MY name on YOUR back." She says, smirking.

I can't tell if she's doing this as a joke, or as a way to show everyone who I'm with. Not in a romantic way of course. "Don't worry. I'll have a great time showing everyone who I belong to." I say, winking. "Cause I am definitely going to be wearing this outside back in Aussie." I say before closing the door to change. I catch her face flushing before my door closes, making me laugh to myself.

This is gonna be fun.

The other outfit she gives me is a pair of jeans, a belt and a T-shirt with a button up flannel. It's not too much for this weather, but not too little. I lift the shirt up, reading the print on the shirt. "I'm perfect as I am" I mutter, chuckling.

Of course Ellie has a shirt with this on it. It's a simple white shirt, but it fit me. I finish changing, opening the door to see Ellie also changed. She's wearing a white crop top with long beige pants. Simple outfit too, along with a bag, necklaces and earrings. She looks good for an outfit so simple, and I'm sure I'm staring too long because Ellie clears her throat, pulling me from my trance.
