Another week has gone by and it's been the same. Hardcore exhausting training during the day, cuddles and movies at night. I've basically moved into Ellie's room as my things have begun invading the table tops and the bathroom benches. Because of this, my room is almost empty, save for the wardrobe space.

It's now the next weekend and Ellie and I just touched down in the UK after a short flight. It's around 6pm here and the sun is setting, shining in our faces as we walk through the airport, through immigration and everything. My phone pings with a message, causing me to fish it out of my pocket as I follow Ellie.

Sammy K:

Where are youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu?

Y/N/N:

On our way out. Have some damn patience Samantha.

Sammy K:

Fine.

I chuckle as I put my phone away, walking alongside Ellie as we exit the airport to the area where people get picked up. The moment we step through the doors, I spot the girls...and that's because all the ones in the UK have shown up and are causing chaos of their own. Fans asking for autographs and pictures from some as the others keep a lookout. I make eye contact with Caitlin, making her gasp as she screams very loudly.

"They're here!" She shouts, getting everyone's attention. Including passersby and the fans. Ellie and I grin, walking out and towards them, but before I know it, my ass has landed on the ground because Alycia, Hayley and Sam have tackled me to the ground. "It's been too long." Hayley says. "We called last week...and it's only been around a month." I say, laughing as they stand.

Sam holds her hand out, letting me take it and standing. As soon as she steps back, I see Ellie with the other girls, laughing and chattering away. It's lovely to see our second family again. "Still pining over that one?" A voice says, causing me to turn my head to meet Kristie's eyes. "Kristie!" I say, grinning and engulfing the girl in a hug. She laughs, hugging me back and kissing my head. "Good to see you, girlie."

I grin, hugging her tightly before letting her go. "You too. Didn't know you were still in the UK." I say. She nods, smiling. "Team is taking a break. So I came to visit this one." She says, putting her arm around Sam who just smiles. I laugh, nodding and opening my mouth to say something, but I'm stopped when I feel a hand at my lower back.

"Hey girls." Ellie says, smiling at Sam and Kristie as she drops her hand back to her side. "Hey, Els. Good to see you." Kristie says, pulling her into a hug. Over their shoulders, I notice Sam smirking at me, making me roll my eyes.

After many greetings and hugs, we all pile into multiple cars to head to a restaurant for dinner that night before Ellie and I head to the hotel we booked. Ellie and I are riding with Sam and Kristie with Sam driving. Ellie and Kristie strike conversation, but I just stare out the window, taking a few boomerangs to post on my story with the caption "Missed my other family <3"

Once we arrive at the restaurant, we get led to the private room with a huge table for all of us. Sitting down, I sit between Ellie and Alycia, opposite to Steph while Ellie is opposite to Sam. Orders were given in and conversation started again. A lot of it is about next week's games, plans, or the upcoming world cup and our training session.

As I speak with Steph across the table about a new show I watched, I feel a hand rest on my thigh, causing me to pause for a second. "Oh come on, you can't leave me hanging. What happens next?" Steph asks, resting her head on her hands. I clear my throat, laughing it off as I try to ignore the touch of my girlfriend's hand.

I continue explaining the plot of the show, trying my hardest to not fumble over my words as Ellie's thumb begins brushing over my skin. As Steph laughs, I sneak a glance at Ellie who is in deep conversation with Sam, nodding along to whatever the girl is saying. I look back at Steph who finishes laughing, wiping a tear from her eye because she shakes her head. "Gosh, I need show recommendations from you." She says. I nod, taking a sip of my water as I smile as she begins talking about a movie she watched recently. Now long into this new topic, I feel Ellie's hand inch slightly higher, making me choke on my water.
