In the midst of the croquet tournament, the crowd buzzes with excitement, their cheers and gasps filling the air. [Y/n] feels a bead of sweat trickle down her forehead as she moves her mallet, trying to focus on the game. But her mind is consumed by the recent events that have unfolded. As she manages to hit her ball through a wicket, a pang of guilt washes over her. She knows she needs to confront Riddle about how far he took things, but the weight of the situation hangs heavy on her shoulders. She can't shake the feeling that she's betrayed her own principles. Without so much as a glance in Riddle's direction, [Y/n] spun on her heel and strode away, her steps quick and purposeful. A pair of bright yellow eyes, like glowing jewels under the shade of tree leaves, watched her retreating figure from the safety of a nearby tree. Their expression was one of pure mischief, a twisted grin spreading across their face like a malevolent force. [Y/n] caught up in her own thoughts and worries, was completely oblivious to the presence lurking just beyond her field of vision.

Quietly slipping away from the tournament, [Y/n] finds solace in the fragrant embrace of the rose maze. She can feel her heart pounding as she ponders her next move. Does she confront Riddle, risking their relationship? Or does she keep the incident to herself and bear the burden of guilt alone? [Y/n]'s legs propelled her forward through the intricate labyrinth of rosebushes, the soft rustling of her footsteps echoing through the winding paths as if the weight of her concern weighed heavily upon her every step. With each step, she felt the weight of her own words building up until she finally reached the opening, where Riddle and she had lunch before, and collapsed to the ground, her knees giving out beneath her. Her dress cascaded around her like a waterfall of silk, the vibrant colors blending with the petals strewn across the grass. It was more than she could manage. The wave of emotion subsided, leaving her feeling spent and depleted. Her body, normally relaxed and agile, now seemed rigid with tension, and her jaw clenched tightly.

[Y/n] stared down at her dress; her fingers trembled as she clutched the fabric tightly as if her grip alone could prevent the dress from disintegrating before her very eyes. The delicate material was now creased and wrinkled; the fabric stretched to its limits and beyond as if it had been through a war, and emerged battered and bruised. The dress was a reflection of her own inner turmoil, a tangible reminder of the chaos and turmoil that had engulfed her heart and mind. The grass beneath her bare legs felt cool and refreshing, offering a small respite from the overwhelming emotions that threatened to consume her. [Y/n]'s shoulders shook with the force of her emotions as she tried to keep her anger and pain in check. Her eyes, red and moist with unshed tears, glinted with fierce determination as she struggled to regain control of her feelings.

Why now, when everything seems to be going well, does she feel like her world is crumbling around her? That was not the Riddle, [Y/n] had come to know and cherish; he was now consumed by a dark and sinister presence. She was at a loss for words, unsure of what to attribute the situation to—the sudden change in his behavior, the influence of external forces, or perhaps something she had missed all along, the product of a clouded mind consumed by fulfilling its own desires. Despite his outburst, [Y/n] clung to the hope that this was merely a fleeting phase in their relationship, a brief storm that would soon subside and that Riddle was deeply troubled and remorseful for his actions, standing in stark contrast to the calm attitude he had displayed earlier that evening."
