"Aaagh..." [Y/n] cried out, her voice filled with anguish and desperation. The once determined [Y/n] clung to Leona, her body trembling from the efforts of Leona's spell. Her soft whimpering echoed through the otherwise silent stadium, a testament to the pain she suffered. "What?! My nose is dryin' out... M-my eyes hurt!" Grim exclaimed, pawing at his face in discomfort. The effects of Leona's spell seemed to be affecting everyone as well, causing their senses to become distorted. "Everything the housewarden touched is turning to sand?!" Jack exclaimed in disbelief, his voice tinged with panic.

Jack's voice seemed to pull Leona back to the present moment, the mention of his signature spell snapping him out of her reverie. Staring down at the writhing [Y/n] in his arms, jolted him out of the dark, swirling maelstrom of his thoughts but not before a pang of guilt washed over him. "That'd be my signature spell. "The King's Roar." Ironic, isn't it? Nothin' the savanna hates more than a drought. Yet its prince's magic desiccates everything—reduces it to sand." he continued, his voice tinged with a hint of bitterness. "Leona...S-Stop..." [Y/n] inquired, creases forming between her brows as she struggled to regain her composure.

"[Y/n]'s arm! The skin is cracking!" Deuce exclaimed, panic evident in his voice. "Your spell can legit dry out a HUMAN BEING?!" Ace cried out in disbelief, his eyes widening. He had never imagined that their magic could have such a dangerous effect on humans. The realization left him feeling a mix of guilt and concern for [Y/n]'s well-being. "Leona, undo this spell!" Riddle demanded, his voice sharp and commanding. His brows furrowed with intense worry as he witnessed [Y/n]'s distress. Leona, still in a state of shock at the terrible consequences of his actions, hesitated for a moment. But as Riddle's demand reached his ears, he seemed to fully awaken from his daze and tightened his arms protectively around [Y/n], refusing to let her go.

"No! I won't undo it!" Leona's voice growled with unwavering determination, and his eyes locked with Riddle's. In her heart, he knew that he had made a grave mistake, but he couldn't bring herself to simply release [Y/n] into Riddle's hands. Riddle's frustration grew as he felt the resistance from Leona. Leona leaned closer into [Y/n], and with a firm yet chilling touch, he brushed a strand of [Y/n]'s hair behind her ear, leaning in close to whisper in her ear. "Can you feel it, my dear? The sand, like a thousand tiny needles, is stinging your delicate skin. It hurts, does it not?" [Y/n]'s pain-filled eyes widened as his words sent shivers down her spine. The sting of the sand against her flesh intensified, causing a whimper to escape her lips. Her eyes were glazed over, her breaths shallow and uneven, and Riddle knew that she was in danger of losing herself entirely.

"And yet, it was your choice to get in my way, to go against me," Leona continued, his voice low and filled with bitter resentment. "You had a chance to avoid this, but you insisted on challenging me." He finally ceased his merciless word, and turned to meet Riddle's enraged gaze, Leona's expression hardening slightly. The terror and pain in [Y/n]'s eyes were palpaple, and it was clear that there was no justification for the suffering she was experiencing. Although tears threatened to spill from [Y/n]'s eyes, she held them back, refusing to show any weakness in front of Leona, who seemed to be utterly indifferent to her well-being.
