〖 Cafeteria 〗

As the lunch break commenced, [Y/n], Yuu, and Jack remained covert in their pursuit of Azul, seamlessly trailing behind without arousing any inkling of awareness. Amidst the bustling and congested hallways, it was a marvel that their presence went unnoticed. Their movements were deft and agile, seamlessly melding into the throng of students, a choreography designed to cloak their intentions and evade any hint of suspicion. The cafeteria was filled with the usual cacophony of voices and clattering trays, providing the perfect cover for their covert operation. They strategically positioned themselves at different tables, keeping a watchful eye on Azul as he casually made his way through the lunch line.

Positioned near the table in the bustling cafeteria, [Y/n] observed Azul's poised stance at the lunch counter, flanked by the Leech Twins on either side. His thoughtful demeanor hinted at a moment of contemplation as if navigating a mental labyrinth to decide upon his culinary choice. "I think I'll have some squid ink pasta for lunch today. Ah, but I do need my vegetables as well. An all-carb meal would be quite nutritionally lopsided..." he muttered, his eyes racking up and down the menu, weighing up his options. "...and more to the point, it would go straight to my thighs," he chuckled, catching the attention of the Leech Twins, who exchanged mischievous glances.

"Seems like Azul's a perfect honors student in every way," muttered Jack, as he ruffled his hair in frustration. [Y/n] deadpanned as she added, "I can't help but feel a bit inadequate compared to him," Azul appeared to effortlessly master every endeavor he undertook, an ideal of near perfection reminiscent of Riddle himself. Known widely for his impeccable grades and encyclopedic knowledge of spells, he stood as a paragon within the school walls. It seemed inconceivable that failure could touch a man who had shed his former self and consigned every past flaw to oblivion. 'It's like he's living in a different realm of existence, untouched by the struggles and insecurities that plague the rest of us,' [Y/n] thought to herself.

"C'mon, let's just get our food," Yuu urged. Following a patient wait, they at last arrived at the bustling front counter. The tantalizing scent of freshly prepared meals permeated the air, a fragrant symphony that intensified the chorus of hunger rumbling in their stomachs. Amidst the array of choices, [Y/n] settled on a small carton of milk, its translucence nestled among the savory offerings. Her selection extended to the fragrant allure of curry rice, accompanied by a variety of steamed vegetables on the side. Yuu opted for a hearty bowl of ramen, topped with slices of tender pork and a soft-boiled egg. Jack indulged in a hearty hamburger, accompanied by a generous serving of crispy fries.

The minute they sat down, with Yuu sitting across from [Y/n], he couldn't help but notice the sparkle of the delicate Nautilus necklace around her neck. It was a piece he had never seen her wear before, and he couldn't help but be curious about its sudden appearance. 'Has she always had that necklace?' he wondered silently, his eyes lingering on the intricate design. With a hint of confusion in his eyes, Yuu pointed at the necklace and said, "Hey, [Y/n], where did you get that Nautilus necklace? I don't remember ever seeing you wear it before." [Y/n]'s gaze lowered to the necklace, her fingers tracing the intricate curves of its design. A brief moment of silence passed before she looked up, meeting Yuu's eyes. "You see, last night, in Azul's room, he gave it to me," she explained, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "It was a bit surprising, especially after what happened the other day."
