The world around Deuce and Ace seemed to freeze as the collars snapped closed around their necks, their metal clasps emitting a final, chilling click that reverberated through their bodies, sending shivers down their spines. Their eyes rapidly expanded, reflecting a kaleidoscope of emotions—fear, disbelief, and a faint spark of resilience. The cosmos momentarily paused in its motion, silencing all sounds as if anticipating with bated breath what would come next. The pulse of the cosmos accelerates, and in the blink of an eye, Deuce and Ace release a unison scream as the wind rushes past their hair as they plummet toward the ground. "Ace! Deuce!" yelled Yuuken, his panicked voice barely audible over the rush of air.

As [Yn] gazed upon the sight before her, her eyes widened in an instant, as though a sudden gust of wind had swept across her face. They were defeated in a split second, but she couldn't deny the unmistakable signs that it was inevitable. Despite the combined might of Deuce and Ace, their efforts proved futile against the formidable Riddle, who effortlessly dispatched them with his unparalleled mastery of his signature spell. "Urrrgh... Not again. I didn't even have time to finish my spell!" Ace complained, frustration evident in his voice. Deuce, on the other hand, remained silent, his expression a mix of disappointment and shock. "He shut us down like it was nothing..." he muttered, his voice trailing off. "That was fast!" Yuuken exclaimed, joining the defeated duo. "Riddle's power is truly on another level." [Y/n] released a heavy sigh, feeling the weight of their defeat. "Visualization is key to spell casting. The better you are at accurately visualizing your magic's effects, the stronger and more precise it will be. It would appear Mr. Rosehearts has finely honed his magic." Crowley explained, tapping his fingers thoughtfully on his staff.

"Myah... They didn't stand a chance." A perturbed Grim grumbled, his ears pinned back against his head. "Hmph. You didn't even last five seconds. That was all you had, and still you thought to challenge me? You must be utterly humiliated. I guess my mother was right. A man who cannot follow rules is a man who cannot achieve anything." Riddle crossed his arms, a smug smirk playing on his lips.

Riddle's face contorted into a triumphant grin as he extended his hand, pointing towards. "Come to me, [Y/n]. They've lost; there's no need to stay with them anymore." [Y/n] felt a lump form in her throat as she hesitated. Reluctantly, [Y/n] mustered the strength to walk towards him, her heart heavy with the weight of her decision. She couldn't help but cast a sad smile towards Yuuken, silently hoping that he understood her predicament. However, just as [Y/n] had reached the halfway point across the room, a strong grip seized her shoulders, yanking her back with force.

It was Ace, now standing as a defiant barrier between [Y/n] and Riddle. His eyes blazed with determination, and his voice was steady as he spoke. "She's not going anywhere, housewarden," Riddle declared, standing defiantly. Deuce stepped forward to stand beside him. His intense gaze locked on Riddle, unwavering in its intensity. The room was caught in a stunned silence, the shock palpable in the air.
