Groaning, I shifted to my side, snuggling into the warmth of my comforter.

Wait, what?

Shoving the comforter off me, I sat up and glanced around the room anxiously. The familiar walls of my bedroom somewhat comforted me.

How did I get here?

Sighing, I brought my hands up to rub my face. Noticing the cast, I stopped and inspected my hands. A humourless chuckle escaped my lips. Great, now both of my wrists were basically useless.

The wrist Alfonzo almost broke and the other which the weird guy at the mall succeeded in breaking.

Shaking my head, I stood up from the bed regretting my decision almost immediately. My leg gave out and I fell to the floor, clutching my left leg in pain. Shit, the painkillers have wore off.

Ignoring the pain in my wrist, I reached under my bed for my backpack and pulled out the bottle. Taking two out, I swallowed them dry. They should start to kick in soon.

Curling into a ball, tears of frustration cascaded down my face.

Why did I have to be so weak?

Rubbing my eyes with the end of my jumper, my eyes travelled across the room. There was a small dent at the bottom of the wall, next to the bathroom door. A sad smile overtook me as my mind travelled back to the events of that day.

Giggling, I ran into my room and hid under my bed. Bubba won't fine me here. Keeping my eyes closed, I covered my mouth, trying to prevent any laughter from escaping.

My door opened with a bang and footsteps hurried around my room, calling my name. The person sighed and left, closing the door.

Letting out a breath of relief, I managed to crawl halfway from under my bed before a pair of grey eyes met mine. They sparkled with mischief and I couldn't help the scream that left my mouth.

Shutting my eyes tight, I charged at them. Unbeknownst to me, they moved out of the way and my head dived directly into the wall.

Piercing sobs left me as I clutched my head in pain.

"No no. Please don't cry Leo! I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you!"Alfonzo whisper shouted.

Hugging me tightly, he rubbed my head and tried to comfort me. He whispered apologies non-stop and promised to get me ice-cream the next time we went to the mall. Sniffling, I wiped my nose on shirt causing him to scrunch his nose in disgust.

"Ewww," He whined, causing me to giggle.

Rolling his eyes, he stood up lending me his hand. We walked out of my bedroom, hand in hand, a little bump in the wall left behind.

Wiping my eyes at the memory, my mind took me back to another one. A dark memory I had no intention of remembering but alas we cannot control what our mind wants us to remember.

If I had the power to, if I had a strong mentality, I wouldn't be where I am now.

Blood clouded my vision as my head was brutally shoved into the wall repeatedly.

THUMP

"B-Buba-" I coughed out.
