It takes my eyes a while to adjust to the darkness but when they do, my eyes anxiously search for my little brother. My body slightly relaxes at his sleeping figure at the corner of the room.

It's dark and damp, the room's extremely small and there's no windows either. There's a small table next to one of the walls but it's hard to see what's on there from my position.

Another thing I notice is that we're tied up and not just with normal rope. Chains separate my hands and keep me glued to the wall, I didn't even notice them until I tried to move.

The sound of the chains clinking together echoes loudly in the room, causing Leo to flinch.

"Leo are you alright? Does it hurt anywhere?" My voice is strained and I let out a string of coughs.

Leo whimpers and I take that as a yes.

"Stay where you are Leo, don't try to move okay?"

The door opens with a thud and a tall figure comes into view. He grins, walking up to Leo and crouching down.

"Must be tiring, going through constant torture all the time." His voice almost sounds familiar but I can't remember where I've heard it before.

"You must be hungry." He turns to me, smirking," Too bad we ain't go enough food to go around."

Choosing to stay quiet was the wrong move apparently.

Glaring, he stands up, only to raise his foot and kick Leo in the stomach.

Leo gasps but there's not much else he can do. He's chained to the wall like me and he can't move his arms.

"Stop it you crazy fuck!" I scream, my chains rattling as I try and pull my hands free.

He chuckles, walking up to me but maintaining a short distance as my legs kick out.

"Temper, temper Alfonzo. You never did get that fixed did you?"

Before I have time to figure out what he meant, another figure enters the room, "Stop messing around and unchain him."

The man in front of me frowns, giving me a disgusted look before getting out a pair of keys and unchaining me.

As soon as the chains are off, I rush to Leo's side, shoving the man in front of me away so hard his head hits the wall.

"Leo?" I whisper, gently shaking him," Leo can you hear me?"

His eyes are red, evidence of all the crying he's been doing. My heart beats harshly against my chest," It's o-okay, I'm going to get us out of here."

"How touching, it almost makes feel guilty about what I'm about to do."

The sound a of a whip cracking makes me turn my head in a flash, just in time to catch the whip aiming for my face.

Paying no attention to the sting on my palm, my eyes glare at the figure in front of me.

"Your strength surprises me but it's a shame you want have it for long." Receiving no answer, he smirks and continues," We injected a few drugs into your system. You should be feeling the effects soon. Why don't you just make a run for it and leave your worthless brother here?"

What do I do? What do I do?

What can I do?

I can't do anything.

"Aw you want to stay? So be it." He raises the whip again and this time, my body doesn't have the strength to stop it. All I can do is wrap my arms around Leo with the little strength I have, tucking his head into my chest and showing my back to he monsters behind me.
