Chapter 3: Café du Mondé

Katrina wakes up, she sits up on her bed and looks at her clock it says it's 8:47am, she gets up and decides too change into a pair of black leggings and a grey vest with hot pink stripes down the sides for a run. Katrina walks down the stairs and see's Hayley walking out of the kitchen, Katrina walks towards the front door, as she turns too open it Hayley can't help but stare at the arms of this woman, Hayley asks "Where are you going?" Katrina turns around and looks at Hayley "for a run, would you like to join me?" Katrina's English accent was quite thick since she had just gotten up her hair was tied back into a ponytail, Hayley looks at her outfit which is a white baggy t-shirt with a cargo jacket and a pair of leggings she looked back up at Katrina "I don't think I should run in these clothes" she laughs slightly while talking, "I'm sure no one would mind, and if they did I could kill the, for you" Katrina replies with a smile, Hayley doesn't know wether Katrina means this in a joking way or is being serious but then says "Alright let me get my shoes on, I'm sure it would be good for the baby too" Hayley looks at her stomach and smiles slightly before putting her shoes on and walking out the house with Katrina.

After a few moments of walking, Hayley stomach grumbles, since there's no normal food in the Mikaelson house Hayley can't eat but hasn't said anything, Katrina's superhearing picked up the noise she turns too look at Hayley "are you hungry?" She asks Hayley looks at her and goes "a little bit but it's fine honestly-" "I don't want excuses if you're hungry you could've told me I would've gotten you breakfast, Come on I know a good Café which isn't too far from here, we'll get you something to eat there, love" Katrina says she sounds genuine which is a bit strange since she's supposed too be "The Psycho Sister" but Hayley is more concerned at the fact Katrina called her "love" and how her heart skipped a beat, but she knew Katrina didn't mean anything by it since she calls everyone "love" but Hayley is a bit flustered since Katrina's English accent is thick still but pulls herself together "uh yeah thanks" Hayley replies.

Soon they make it too Café du Mondé and sit outside a waitress comes over "What can I get for ya?" She asks Cheerfully, Hayley look at Katrina not knowing what's good here, Katrina turns too the waitress "Can I get two Coffee's and a plate of Waffles, please" Katrina says smiling, most people are mesmerised by Katrina and this waitress was one of those people "H-How would you like you're coffee, Miss?" "I'll have a black coffee and..." she looks at Hayley "A normal coffee with milk and two sugars, please" Hayley says too the waitress "alrighty I'll have that for ya both soon" she says and walks back into the Café, "Waffles?" Hayley asks Katrina "Yeah there really nice here, and me of all people think that and I drink blood too quench my hunger" Katrina replies, Hayley just nods but wants too make small talk "So what time are you and your siblings from, I know you're all Originals but what time period we're you all born in?" Hayley asks curiously "Viking, hence..." she gestures muscles which makes a bit more sense too Hayley now, "So what year where you born in, I know you're over 1000 years old but..." "Me and Klaus were born July 30th 982 A.D" Katrina replies blankly, the waitress then comes out with the waffles which have syrup and a bit of powdered sugar on then and puts them in the middle of the table and then also puts Hayley and Katrina's coffee's down too "thank you" Katrina says too the waitress who just nods and leaves blushing slightly, Katrina pushes the waffles closer too Hayley and then starts too drink her coffee while looking at the street, Hayley picks up a knife and fork and cuts a piece of the waffle off and eats it. It's amazing "mmm, these are really good!" Hayley says Katrina turns and looks at her smiling slightly "I said they would be" Katrina says teasingly.

After about half an hour or so Katrina pays the bill and then they both continue they're walk, "thank you" Hayley says "hm?" Katrina replies "For the food..." "oh right! It was nothing honestly, Klaus is practically starving you" Katrina says jokingly, Hayley laughs quietly at this. They walk for about an hour talking about how they think they can stop Sophie from being linked too Hayley before heading back too the Mikaelson house. Once they get home they see Elijah sitting in the arm chair. He looks up and smiles at them both "Hello Hayley, Hello dear sister" he smiles at them both before going back too his book. Katrina has already walked off somewhere leaving Hayley and Elijah in the room by themselves "Enjoy?" Elijah asks Hayley is eyes still glued on the book "Yeah" Hayley says, she notices Elijah seems more focused on reading rather than talking so she decides too go into the study and relax.
