Chapter 18: "So shes single then?"

Hayley and Katrina wake up together wrapped in each others arms, neither of them have clothes on.

Hayley is the first to wake up and smiles at the sight of Katrina sleeping peacefully.

Katrina stirs awake,and groans as she does, Hayley kisses her cheek, "Morning" she says softly.

Katrina groans in response and buries her face in Hayley chest, "Sleep" Katrina mutters, Hayley chuckles softly.

"We have to get up and ready for the day" Hayley says in a soft tone, Katrina looks up at Hayley, "Whyyyy?" She groans again.

Hayley rolls her eyes playfully "Cmon up" Katrina shakes her head and clings onto Hayley.

Hayley smiles "You're so clingy when your tired" "You love it" Hayley laughs.

"Now, seriously, get up" Hayley says her tone slightly more stern, this time Katrina listens.

They get out of bed, and change into new clothes.

Hayley goes off to do something in her room, Katrina walks downstairs and sits on the couch.

Katrina is fairly happy, she goes on her phone and begins texting Camille.

"Hello" Katrina texts.

"Hi, Katrina how are you?" Camille replies a few moments later.

"I'm doing quite well actually, How are you?" Katrina replies.

"I'm doing good, How's everything at home doing?"  Camille asks being Katrina's therapist an all.

"Yeah, good" Katrina replies.

"No arguments, no nothing?" Camille replies.

"Yeah, everything is going well" Katrina replies.

"Then why'd you text?" Camille asks.

"Because you're also my friend, I don't want you to feel left out" Katrina replies.

"Well, I can assure you I don't feel left out, goodbye Katrina" Camille texts.

"Bye" Katrina replies.

Elijah walks into the room in his usual suit, he notices Katrina is happier than normal.

"Are you alright?" He asks, Katrina nods and Elijah smiles.

The thought of what happened a couple of weeks back between Hayley and Katrina comes into Elijahs mind.

"So how are things with Hayley?" Elijah asks curiously, "Uh, good I suppose?" Katrina replies confused.

"Are you and Hayley...romantically involved, now?" Elijah asks with a smirk on his face.

Katrina's eyes widen and she shakes her head, "God, no! I-....I- hate her" Katrina says defensively.

Elijah raises an eyebrow, "You, hate her?" He asks, Katrina nods.

"Yeah we despise each other! We...yeah, hate each other" Katrina states.

Elijah raises his eyebrow further "So, you despise her and she despises you?" He asks again.

Katrina nods "Exactly!" She exclaims, Freya is sat at the corner of the room laughing to herself and shaking her head.

Elijah smirks getting an idea, he turns to Katrina.

"So shes single then?" He asks, Katrina nods and Elijah's smirk grows.

"So I can date her then" he says smugly, Freya's head snaps up hearing this.

Katrina death glares at Elijah, Elijah notices but pretends not to.

Katrina goes to speak but stops herself and just growls lowly at Elijah.

"What? I'm right, if Hayley is single then I have a chance with her....a chance I might take, might I add" he says smugly again.

Katrina continues to glare at Elijah, she looks ready to punch the cocky grin off of his face.

Just then Hayley walks into the room and Katrina's face softens completely.

Elijah turns to Hayley and grins, "Hayley! Just the person I was looking for!" He exclaims,he knows he's getting under Katrina's skin.

Hayley looks at Elijah, "I have a question for you" Elijah says softly, Hayley nods "What's your question?".

"Will you go out on a date with me?" Elijah asks his cocky grin still on display, Katrina looks as if she's going to rip him apart then and there.

"No" Hayley says bluntly, Elijah puts his arms out "Well...at least I tried" he shrugs his shoulders and sit back down his smirk never leaving.

Freya is on the verge of laughing, Hayley is confused and Katrina is still glaring at Elijah.

"I'm going to just....leave" Hayley says before walking out the room, Freya snicker which causes Katrina to look at her.

Freya stops herself from laughing but can't help but smile.

Elijah then also walks out and Freya walks over to Katrina, "I'm surprised you can talk after what I heard last night, let alone walk" Freya pauses.

Katrina's face flushes red with embarrassment,"Good thing i put a sound barrier around the room, isn't it?" Freya says teasingly.

As Freya walks out Katrina says "Thank you" Freya turns "No problem" she winks playfully at Katrina before walking out the room.

Katrina sits there her face red with embarrassment but she's smiling remembering what happened between her and Hayley.
