Forever Bound

Chapter 25: Please

(Authors note: the italic paragraph is a flashback/dream)

Katrina wakes up dazed, she's been sat up on a cold cement wall she looks around still in a dazed state.

She notices her wrists are chained to the wall and she tries to pull her self out of them but they're coated in vervain and wolfsbane.

It soon dawns on her that Hayley isn't in the cell with her and she starts frantically looking around and calms down when she sees Hayley still knocked out in a near by cell.

Katrina's eyelids are heavy and she starts to slowly fall back asleep.

Katrina wakes up in her Augustine cell, she fell asleep in the corner she was hiding in and she hears footsteps approaching the cell. "Rise and shine" a make voice says hitting the cell bars and Katrina's superhearing being all over the place it hurts her ears. He smiles at her "Today is going to be very fun...for the scientists that is, for you not so much" he says. He throws something in the cell which causes Katrina to fall asleep. When she wakes up again she's chained to a hospital bed in a laboratory. A scientist walks up to Katrina and draws her blood with a needle, ignoring the fact Katrina is awake while they're doing this since they don't really care either. Another scientist walks up to Katrina with a syringe with some yellow substance in it and injects it in her neck. Katrina feels excruciating pain all over her body. She screams and cries, and then after about an hour of pain and torture they put her back to sleep.

Katrina wakes up again now confused as too where she is but then notices how Hayley has been moved to the cell next to her.

She continues to try and get out of the chains but is failing her eye lids are still heavy and she's struggling to stay awake.

She's trying he best to stay awake but can't she soon falls asleep again.

Katrina is sat in the corner of her Augustine cell shaking. She's lost all sense of time and just wants to go back to her siblings, all she can think about is if her siblings are okay, it's all she cares about. Soon the same guy walks over to the cell and squats down outside. "Dinner time" he says throwing a shot of blood in the cell, Katrina grabs it quickly and drinks it. The feeling of the blood going down her throat and the taste of it is amazing. The man laughs slightly at how desperate Katrina is. Katrina looks over at the man thinking about how she hopes her siblings will come save her. He seems to read her mind and says "They're not coming to save you" he stand back up and paces outside her cell "They're vampires if they were they would've done it by now, so you're stuck with me, little dove" he has a sinister smile on his face as he says this , Katrina hates the name he's given her but she's upset about the fact he's right, her siblings would've saved her by now, so his words cut like a knife.

Katrina wakes up again this time with tears in her eyes, she notices Hayley is still next to her, but Hayley has woken up now too.

Hayley looks at Katrina, she's just as confused as her, Hayley goes to say something before they hear footsteps approaching.

They both look over and see two men, they hear one of them go "This is going to get us a tone of money" the other one agrees.

They both stand outside the cell before one of them pick Hayley up and Katrina realises they're both vampires.

Katrina's watches them, they look both look at Katrina "Where are the other originals and the child, they're not in the house in New Orleans, so where are they?" The taller one asks.

Katrina's eyes fill with panic because she doesn't know "I-I-I- I don't know" she stammers, the one holding Hayley holds a dagger to her chest.

"You'd not want me to kill your friend her now do you?" He says, Katrina shakes her head frantically.

Katrina's eyes fill with tears and she starts to cry "I- I don't know where they are, just please don't kill her! Kill me instead, please" Katrina begs.

The men chuckle "There's no fun in that" the dagger starts to pierce Hayley's skin and Hayley let's out a cry.

Katrina's eyes fill with fear, "So we'll ask one more time, where are the other original's?" The taller one asks again.

Katrina's mind starts to frantic so does Hayley's neither of them know, "I don't know" Katrina sobs "Please don't hurt her, kill me instead please" Katrina sobs again.

"Not a good enough answer"The guy holding Hayley says and pushes the dagger through her heart.

"HAYLEY!" Katrina screams and sobs, Katrina practically screams one of her lungs up.

She watches Hayley desiccate as she screams, Katrina can feel herself pull on the chains and the wall cracking, before she then rips out of them.

She grabs the first guy and feeds off him before staking him and she feeds off the other guy and rips his heart out.

She kneels next Hayley's body, blood dripping down her chin she sobs and pulls the dagger out hoping her lover would come back.

She grabs Hayley's hand "Please don't leave me, baby" she murmurs tears rolling down her cheeks.

The pain of seeing Hayley dead is too much for Katrina to bear so she leaves sobbing.
