Chapter 4: "I hate you"

Hayley and Katrina's relationship did not improve, in fact it went downhill.

"What the hell, Katrina!" Hayley yells, Katrina groans "What now?" "I'm literally pregnant with your twin brothers child! And you find it funny to just go out and get wasted?!", Katrina turns too look at Hayley "What does it matter too you if I'm drunk or not?" Katrina says in a little bit of a slur "Oh, I don't know? Maybe because you're the only one in the damn house other than me?!" Hayley says getting angrier by the second "It's not like you're going to go into labour" Katrina says rolling her eyes, Hayley snarls at "God! I hate you!" Hayley yells at her in frustration and anger "I hate you too" Katrina says a lot mor calmly then Hayley.

Hayley walks out of the living room and into her bedroom and puts her hands in her head, soon she hears a knock at the door.

"Hayley?" A voice says from outside the voice is quite deep, It's Elijah. "May I come in?" He asks, "Yeah fine" Hayley mutters, Elijah walks in.

"What do you want, Elijah?" Hayley asks she's obviously annoyed but not at him, "I wanted too speak with you about my sister Katrina" he says calmly ignoring Hayley's annoyed tone, "Why?" She asks still quite annoyed but it's not as annoyed as before, "Because she's a lot more territorial then the rest of my siblings, she doesn't trust people easily, I've known her for 1027 years and I don't even think she fully trusts me" he chuckles slightly saying this "What's your point?" Hayley asks confused.

"The only one she has ever fully trusted is Klaus, don't ask why it's probably because they're twins or something along those lines" he explains "So because Klaus got you pregnant in her mind you're trying to take him away from her, not in the way she'll hate the child if anything she'll adore it but, Klaus is the only person who puts her first and she's not used to that" he explains further "So she's jealous?" Hayley asks.

"In a way yes, she's more than happy that you're having a child with him and you'll be there to raise it, knowing her she'd kill anyone that touches the child, but just make sure that you in a way state that you're not trying to take Klaus from her" he says.

"But what about the drinking?" Hayley asks "She only gets drunk when she's stressed about something or something has happened I'll bring that up with her when she's sober.....but what I'm saying is you don't have too be friends with her, just try and be a bit nicer too her because even if you're Klaus's baby mother, you still don't want to get on her bad side" he says his tone is a bit worried, Hayley nods "Thanks Elijah" she says, Elijah then walks out the room.

He walks downstairs too Katrina who is now sober, most likely because of her supernatural healing, he walks up too her "What's wrong, darling sister?" He asks softly "Nothing 'lijah I'm fine" she says back, "You're my little sister I know you only get drunk when something bothering you or something happened so tell me, what is it?" He asks his tone is a little more demanding but still soft. Katrina sighs softly "Rebekah is thinking about leaving New Orleans and going back too....where ever she was before" She seems a bit upset by this "It's not that I don't want her too go but she's my baby sister and a little part of me wants her to stay" She says softly "Drinking isn't the answer Katri-" "Don't lecture me" She cuts him off.

Elijah sighs softly, "Just promise me you won't get drunk again this week, I know what you're like" "Fine I promise I won't" she says in a slightly annoyed tone "Give me your word" Elijah says in a teasing but serious tone, "I won't get drunk again this week, you have my word" She says in a sigh, Elijah smiles "Good girl, little sister" he says in a happier tone before going to walk out "Love you Eli" Katrina says after him "Love you too little one".
