Chapter 30: Work Out

(Authors note: sorry for the short chapter)

"Well isn't this....fun" Katrina says sarcastically, looking at her siblings, Hayley and her Grandmother.

Hayley hit arm, as if telling her too stop.

Elijah raises and eyebrow, "Any idea why this family meeting was called?" He asks theoretically, his eyes boring at Katrina.

"Your staring is making me very uncomfortable..." Katrina says rubbing her head.

Kol snickers and leans over to whisper to Katrina "They found my weed" "Oh".

"Kol...it's not acceptable to be smoking cannabis" Elijah says as if talking to a child.

"It's legal here" Katrina murmurs, Elijah heard her.

"What have you been smoking it too?" He asks, Katrina looks more offended if anything.

"I know I'm pale and look like I haven't slept in like four weeks, but you don't have to come for me like that, damn..." Kol snickers.

Elijah runs his temples "All of you just stop smoking weed" he then walks out the room.

Katrina shrugs her shoulders and walks out, Rebekah shakes her head and starts reading.

Kol goes on his phone, and Hayley and Ingrid are just sat there in silence.

Hayley soon walks out of the kitchen and sees that Katrina is working out in the home gym.

Katrina hasn't noticed Hayley yet and continues doing push-ups.

Hayley watches Katrina do so.

Hayley was practically drooling at the sight, she leans on the doorframe.

Katrina glances up and sees Hayley and smiles softly at her.

"How long have you been watching me for?" Katrina asks, standing up, Katrina being an inch taller than Hayley and yet still falls Hayley short.

"A few minutes" Hayley murmurs, not making eye contact with Katrina.

Katrina tilts her head but shrugs it off, she seems full of energy today and starts skipping.

Hayley keeps watching Katrina, confused as to why she's so energetic.

"Are you sure your not high on weed?" Hayley asks in a teasing way.

Katrina rolls her eyes and continues skipping but doesn't say anything.

Hayley gets suspicious, "Katrina?" She says as if trying to get her attention.

Katrina doesn't say anything, Hayley's eyes widen in realisation.

"You are aren't you?!" Hayley exclaims, Katrina shakes her head.

"No...Kol gave me a brownie....there could've been weed in i-....there was probably weed in it.." Katrina murmurs.

"Oh my god..." Hayley mutters as she walks out, a few moments later she returns with a glass of water.

"Drink it" Hayley says sternly to Katrina, who drinks the water with zero hesitation.

"Good" Hayley murmurs, nodding her head.

"Can I finish working out now?" Katrina says wiping the water from her mouth.

"Okay....but for the love of god don't eat anymore of Kols brownies" Hayley says walking back out.

Katrina continues to work out, Elijah emerges from the shadows.

Katrina jumps, "Jesus!" She exclaims.

"How come you listen to her so obediently and then the moment I tell you too do something you never listen?" He asks.

Katrina shrugs her shoulders, "You tell me to do stupid things...like...find you a witch, go find your own witch" Katrina says, mocking a time Elijah asked her to do something.

Elijah sighs "That was one time-" "I almost died" Katrina cuts him off.

"You're immortal you can't die" Elijah corrects.

"And yet I almost did" Katrina says, still skipping through all of this conversation.

Elijah notices and raises and eyebrow "I'll leave you too it...." He then walks out the room.

Katrina finally finished her work out in peace.
