Chapter 14: Lipgloss

Hayley and Katrina stay in bed for a few more moments.

Katrina smiles softly, Hayley notices this and raises an eyebrow.

"What are you smiling at?" She asks soft but none the less smiles back at Katrina.

Katrina chuckles softly "Just thinking" she says but not giving it anymore explanation than that.

Hayley's eyebrow stays raised "Thinking about what?" Hayley asks curiously.

Katrina's cheeks flush a little "....Nothing..." she says softly, laughing a little, Hayley smiles she thinks she knows what Katrina is thinking about.

"Tell meee" Hayley says in a somewhat whiny voice which makes Katrina laugh and shake her head.

Hayley pouts "if you're not going to tell me then....I guess I'm going to have to make you" Hayley says her pout replaced with a smirk.

Before Katrina can say anything Hayley has grabbed Katrina's face, and kissed her passionately.

Katrina's face flushes a pastel pink colour, but she kisses back.

They kiss for a while with they're arms wrapped around each other, Hayley on top of Katrina.

Hayley pulls away, pulls Katrina closer by the waist and goes to kiss Katrina's jawline.

Just before Hayley does kiss her jawline, they are interrupted by Klaus' voice.

"Katrina, Come here!" He shouts from downstairs, "What do you want?" Katrina shouts back. "Just come here!" He shouts back upstairs.

Hayley rolls off of Katrina, Katrina kisses Hayley's hand before going downstairs to Klaus.

"What do you want, Niklaus?" Katrina asks hiding her annoyance, "Well, I'm planning a family dinner-" Katrina cuts him off, "What's the food going to be? The waitresses and waiters" she says sarcastically.

Klaus rolls his eyes "No, a proper family dinner to bring us all together" he says, "Freya arranged this didn't she?" Katrina asks bluntly.

Klaus looks defiant to answer before then nodding his head "Yes she did" he says softly.

He looks down at the ground before looking back up at his twin sister, "Could you do me a favour and look after the little one for a bit while I work out what we are going to have for food?" Klaus asks his voice soft and gentle towards Katrina.

Katrina nods "Yeah, alright is that what you called me down for?" she asks softly, Klaus nods.

Katrina then walks into Hopes room, Hope's eyes light up at the sight of her aunt.

Hope runs and hugs Katrina's leg which causes Katrina to chuckle softly.

Katrina bends down to Hope's height, Hope then tilts her head in confusion and suspicion.

Katrina notices this, "What is it?" Katrina asks softly, Hope points to Katrina's lips.

"Have you been playing with mommy's make up because you have her lipgloss smudged on your lips" Hope asks innocently.

Katrina's eyes widen "Uh, yeah...yeah I was, but I'm no good at make up so that's why it's....smudged" Katrina says swiftly coming up with an excuse.

"Was it because you wanted to look like mommy?" Hope asks curiously.

Katrina shakes her head " Your other aunties seem to like makeup I thought I'd give it a try" Katrina pauses.

"But your mother is most gorgeous woman I've laid eyes on" Katrina says lost in thought.

Hope smiles liking the fact Katrina talks fondly of her mother.

Hope then runs to her dollhouse and starts pulling her Barbies out and putting them in a Barbie car.

Hope is playing with her dolls and then suddenly says to Katrina "Also your shirt buttons are undone" she says sweetly.

Katrina looks down at her shirt and does her shirt buttons up quickly.

"I was just uh...changing because I got makeup all over my t-shirt" she says to Hope, Hope doesn't really seem to care about it and continues playing with Barbies.

Soon, Hayley walks in and smiles seeing Hope and Katrina playing together.

Hope notices her mother's presence "Mama!" She exclaims and runs too Hayley.

Hayley picks her up in a hug.

"Mama, aunt Katrina tried to do makeup with your makeup and has lipgloss all over her mouth!" Hope says laughing.

Hayley smirks and laughs "Oh?" Hayley says softly.

Hope nods and says "She also said you're "the most gorgeous woman she's ever laid eyes on"!"Hope says giggling.

Katrina blushes at this Hayley laughs and raises an eyebrow "Well, I guess your aunt Katrina will need help taking the lipgloss of her face".

Hope nods and Hayley puts her down and gestures for Katrina too follow her which she does.

Hayley leads Katrina into the bathroom, she opens one of the cupboards and pulls out a packet of baby wipes.

"Sit" Hayley says gesturing to the stool behind Katrina.

Katrina sits down, "Stay still" Hayley says quite sternly while wiping the lipgloss off of Katrina's lips.

"You knew it was there didn't you?" Katrina asks, raising an eyebrow.

Hayley laughs and nods "Felt it when you kissed my hand" she says teasingly and finishes wiping the lipgloss off.

Katrina looks at Hayley lovingly, Hayley notices this and smiles at Katrina.

"So...you think I'm the most gorgeous woman you've ever laid eyes on?" Hayley asks teasingly.

Katrina blushes slightly "I-..uh...well-...yeah" Katrina stammers.

Hayley chuckles at Katrina's flustered state "Did I...maybe make you...flustered" Hayley giggles.

Katrina just nods which causes Hayley to giggle more.

Soon enough they both go back into Hopes room and Katrina goes back to playing with Hope.

Hayley starts recording them on her phone giggling softly.

After about 10 minutes they can hear Freya's voice from downstairs "Dinner!".
