"That's another one that bites the dust," I say to my sister as the spirit named Sakura disappears into the afterlife. "But she's not the only one." Asuna says. "There have been a lot of these corrupted spirits and they're now coming into the living world."

"What do you mean by that avatar?" Asked Makoto. Makoto, a spirit, still in the body of a doll, walks over to my sister and I looking for an answer. "Well—wait, how did you know that I was the avatar?" Asuna asked. Makoto laughs. "Who else can spirit bend like that besides water benders? And plus I saw you use water as well when you were fighting my mother. So I put two and two together."

Asuna chuckles a bit. "Well I'll be happy to answer your question as soon as we find out if everyone else is ok." She says. Makoto nods. And I went over to pick her up and held her in my arms. We took her father and granddaughter back inside their house. A very tired Midori wanted to stay up a little longer but Shin whisk her off to bed.

Shin thanked us for saving his wife's soul and for saving the festival. Though he was curious about Makoto still being inside the doll. "The wishing spirit gave me her power to come here and see what's going on." Makoto explained. "She and other spirits can't past through due to some unknown forces taken over spiritual world."

"Then I'll give your brother and sister a call to make sure they're alright." Shin says. "They both live with benders who often connect with the spirit world. If something is going on they would know. But I also want them to be careful."

Makoto nods and Shin heads back into his house to call his other children.

Meanwhile, the rest of us went back to the festival to see if our two sisters and the children were ok.

Some of the children were shaken up. Most were just happy it was over. And a few kinda wanted the festival to continue. But before we left Shin's place, he wanted us to tell everyone to go home just to be safe.

We reunited some children with their parents that was still there. Most of the children had older siblings and went home with them. When we finally met up with our sisters, they had others tagging along with them. "There you guys are," Akemi beamed. As a sigh of relief released from her chest as she came and held us tightly in her arms.

"Are you guys ok?" She asked worried. She looked us over and noticed Makoto in my arms. "Was that doll causing the trouble?"

"No it was my mother." Makoto replied. Everyone was shocked when Makoto started talking. "The doll just spoke," Benika gasped. "She's the daughter of the shadow that we've defeated." I explained. "But why hasn't her soul moved on?" Akemi asked. That's a good question I thought. You would think she would want to join her mother but I guess she has her reasons not to.

"I'll explain my reasoning later," Makoto stated softly. "Right now I want to see if my mother caused anymore damages to republic villa."

"Oh, most of the Villa is fine and the children are safe." Akemi assured her. Makoto released a deep breath. "Thank goodness," she says relieved. "But I'm sure you dealt with spirits like my mother before."
