I do not own Harry Potter ... but film Ron does so many things that book Ron would NEVER do

__________<>__________

Despite wanting to do nothing more than uphold his anger and ignore Ron, even if his words came from Hermione, Harry found himself leaving Bel and the Hufflepuffs to go and find Hagrid.

The half-giant had told him that he needed to meet him later that night at his hut with his father's invisibility cloak in hand.

Harry didn't have much time to ask Hagrid what it was all about, and so simply followed his command.

When darkness painted the sky and night arrived, the Gryffindor boy had snuck out of the castle.

"Did you bring your father's cloak like I asked ya?" Hagrid asked as the two walked through the forbidden forest.

"Yeah, I bought the cloak. Hagrid, where are we going?" Harry responded, being rather confused as to why he was trekking through the dark forest at all.

"You'll see soon enough", Hagrid replied as he transferred the lantern providing their only source of light between his hands.

"Now, pay attention. This is important", the half-giant added.

Harry was only more confused.

Just what was he supposed to be paying attention to?

What was so important?

Why did he need his invisibility cloak?

He looked up to Hagrid with furrowed eyebrows to ask him one of those questions, but a rather large red and yellow flower tucked into the lapel of Hagrid's jacket caught his eye.

"What's with the flower?" he asked instead.

There was no reply. Hagrid simply used his free hand to pull his jacket on tighter.

"Hagrid, have you combed your hair?" Harry then asked, taking a sudden notice of the giant man's tidied up appearance.

"As a matter o' fact, I have. You might like to try the same thing now and again", Hagrid said, hinting towards Harry's own wild curls which had grown significantly since last year.

Before another word could be said, a faint roar sounded out in the distance.

Hagrid came to an abrupt stop, Harry freezing beside him.

The two glanced around, hearing snarls travel along the woods.

"Hagrid?"

A third voice called out through the fog.

It had an accent to it. A French accent, to be precise.

Hagrid's face morphed into a boyish excitement, a bashful grin appearing on his lips.

After taking a few leaps forward, he turned back to Harry.

"The cloak! Put the cloak on!"

Harry did as he was told, covering himself with the cloak, thus shielding him from the eyes of others.

Hagrid carried on, eventually stopping beside another figure.

It was Madam Maxine.

Harry kept his distance whilst Hagrid approached her.

"Bonsoir, Olympe", he greeted.

"Oh, Hagrid. I thought perhaps you weren't coming. I thought perhaps ... you had forgotten me", the Beauxbaton headmistress spoke as she approached the Hogwarts gamekeeper.
