I do not own Harry Potter ... but thoughts on Ginny and Tia as a couple (I have other plans for them both but who knows)

__________<>__________

October ended, and November began.

Harry's life hadn't changed drastically, if one considers all the many changes that had already occurred that year.

Everyone in the school still resented him.

Ron was shunning him, still upholding the belief that Harry had entered the tournament of his own accord.

It had taken him two weeks to believe that Bel had nothing to do with it.

If Harry wasn't so pissed that his best friend didn't believe him at face value, he would've viewed it as progress.

But he was getting really sick and tired of the snide remarks and whispers around the school.

His one escape was even starting to avoid him.

Bel had been exceptionally busy over October, and Harry was well aware it had to do with whatever challenge might be lined up for him later that month.

No matter how many times he tried asking her about it, she kept her lips tightly sealed.

She was doing the same with Cedric. Evident by the arguments he overheard from the Hufflepuff table during meals.

Harry had been initially terrified that he had scared her away due to the last conversation they had alone in her clearing.

His mind was completely distracted from the impending challenge as all he could think about was if he had been too forward.

If he had taken the first step too quickly.

All of this was so new to him, and there wasn't exactly a guidebook on how to tell your best friend that you like her.

Of course, he would have asked Ron for advice. But he wasn't speaking to him.

Hermione would have been his next best bet, but Harry had only just come to the conclusive revelation that he wanted more with Bel than just a friendship.

It was something he needed to be careful with and Hermione would most certainly tell Bel anything he told her.

And he had also decided now wasn't the best time to bother her.

The Hufflepuff girl looked exhausted.

In between her regular classes, classes with Dumbledore, duties with Hagrid, the business with the Triwizard Tournament, and whatever else she had going on which Harry wasn't aware of, Bel had enough on her plate already.

Which is why Harry had turned to his final source of comfort and knowledge.

His godfather, Sirius.

In the first week of November, Harry finally received a reply from him.

It came from an owl Harry had never seen before. One that wasn't very friendly in the slightest, as it had bitten his hand during the time Harry had been occupied reading the letter.

It told him that they had to meet face-to-face. Gryffindor common room. That night at 1:00. Alone.

Which is exactly what Harry had done.

"Sirius?" Harry whispered out as he trekked down the stone staircase into his house common room.

There was no one in there.
