I do not own Harry Potter ... but there are so many Draco Malfoy fics which milk the shit out of him turning into a ferret and I'm honestly here for it

Harry had figured out the first task.
Bel knew this as the Gryffindor boy had come running up to her after Charms class two weeks ago with fear plastered all over his face.
"It's dragons, isn't it? The first task", he had whispered to her in a panic.
"I – I can't tell you anything, Harry", Bel had tried to play it off.
"Hagrid showed me. Ron knew and didn't care to say anything."
"What did Hagrid show you?"
"He took me into the forest. I saw you there. And the four dragons. Do we have to fight them? How on earth am I supposed to do that without getting burned to a crisp?!"
At the time, Bel felt such an overwhelming need to help him.
But Professor Moody was supposed to be handling it.
Clearly, he hadn't gotten around to it quite yet seeing how on edge and clueless Harry was.
All it would take was one explanation from the girl to calm his nerves enough to help him focus.
To explain that there were ways of getting past the dragons during the challenge.
To tell him that she is praying he doesn't pick the Hungarian Horntail to go up against.
She had been struggling a lot with that particular creature since its arrival.
But she was bound to silence by duty and contract.
Leaving her to tell him she couldn't help him, and that he needed to figure it out on his own.
After that, he didn't ask her about it again.
But it was clear over those two weeks that it was the only thing on his mind. And with his short-temper and fearful expression consistently in place, it was also evident that he hadn't figured anything out.
Bel couldn't handle seeing him so anxious over something she could help him with, and so she had snapped at Moody in their lesson yesterday.
"You've got to help Harry. I don't care what contract I'm under. If someone doesn't give him an ounce of direction with this first challenge, he could get seriously injured", she had said firmly after another round of successfully resisting the Imperius Curse.
"Don't fret, kiddo. I'm simply waiting for the right moment", Moody had reassured.
"You're almost out of time to pick one. The challenge is in five days. I'm begging you, sir. Help him."
Now there was four days before the challenge was set to take place.
Bel had been spending each night in the presence of the dragons to help ease them into their surroundings and get them used to the arena for the task.
She had also been assisting with the conditioning training of the creatures.
The challenge would consist of each champion needing to retrieve a clue for the next task.
That clue came in the form of a golden egg which the dragons needed to be conditioned to protect as though it were their own.
All of it had resulted in many restless nights, and thus a major neglect of her wellbeing and ability to stay awake in class.
