Welcome to Skill and Seclusion <3

This is the second book in the PAP series ... so welcome or welcome back. 

I really hope y'all are here after finishing the train wreck that was Power and Persecution lmao. If you couldn't tell reading that, I was STRUGGLING my ass off trying to keep up with everything I was writing. But I also hope you enjoyed it none the less <3

Now, I really want to promise you this will be any better in terms of making sense ... but I'm uncertain haha. This book will involve Parts IV, V, VI (so following the plots of movies 4-6). It will also involve a LOT of tension ;) and answers (ooooooohhhh).

I'm wondering if anyone is here without having first read Book One (Power and Persecution). If you haven't ... I strongly suggest you go and read that before you continue with this. I'll be waiting for your return :)

Just in case you've skipped to this book for a reason (that reason being sexual tension with Harry or Draco which was NOT in the first book) then I don't blame you. But allow me to reiterate what I said in my note over there.

1. Judge me all you want but idc

This is gonna be your basic ass fanfic which involves my OC being an overpowered badass. If you're not a fan then I suggest you tap out now haha. I think some people just want an OC that is swooned over by boys and can defeat anyone in their path ... TELL ME I'M WRONG

Also I will be making some changes to canon things. This is relevant to help my story go along. But it's a fanfic so like idk be picky if you want but it's all non-canon here anyways haha so I shall make the changes I need to

2. I don't write smut

Listen ... here's the situation. Writing detailed smut is so abnormal to me rn as I'm a very new writer so do NOT expect any in this fanfic. Again if that's what ur looking for (cause I KNOW some of y'all minds are there) tap out now too hehe

This doesn't mean there won't be anything haha. There will be sexual tension (of course) and many other things leading up to it ;) but detailed smut is not on the table so idk use ur imagination

I do have plans to ... idk ... narrate things in a more delicate way if that makes sense so don't go thinking you'll be totally robbed

3. Duo love interests

This fanfic will involve both Harry and Draco being a love interest of my OC. There's gonna be different tropes applied to both of them and because I've been planning this for YEARS I already know who is gonna wind up with her at the end BUT my mind can be swayed depending on the feedback lol

If you're a drarry stan I also suggest tapping out now ... this series is NOT gonna be the one for that ship (but who knows ... delusion can turn anything into a positive I guess)

4. I will follow the films not the books

Fairly self-explanatory. Most people have watched the movies over reading the books. Not to mention I don't have the books at hand so movies it is.

There might be a few book characters and scenes mixed in there from time to time to help the plot but that's about it.

5. Don't expect shit in the first two parts 

This was said purely for Power and Persecution Parts I and II ... so if you read this as the first two parts of Skill and Seclusion ... then definitely DO expect shit in the first two parts over here hehe

6. I'm not on an upload schedule

In terms of uploads, you will get them when you get them. Sometimes I'll upload multiple at a time ... sometimes one a week ... sometimes y'all will have to be patient and wait a while. I will let you know if I plan to take a longer break tho.

Now that's out of the way, I just want to say I really wish you liked the first book and will like this one too. 

If you didn't like the first one and are still here ... then thanks I guess? I hope you enjoy this one more :)
