4. Try and understand😪

So I'm back. Who missed me? Well it's fine if you don't miss me. Let's get started.

****Hailey's POV****

"I've said my mind and it's final"
" Dad..." I cried.
" Go for Albert Hawaii trip cancelled " he said and left the room.

Why is dad like this? He's twenty, yeah, is it a crime? Albert actually texted me to know my response to his proposal. He asked me to be his girlfriend on one of our dates. Yeah I lied, we've been on let's say three dates or so. I couldn't tell my dad that, he'll deal with Albert if he finds out. He warned him severally to stay away from me but I guess it's not his fault I'm bent on being with him but right now he has to wait, after my trip to Hawaii I'll be his girlfriend officially. I brought out my phone and texted my dad.

Me: I'm so sorry dad. No more Albert.

Dad: I know you're not sorry Hails.

Me: I'm so sorry dad. I mean it.

Dad: Fine

Phew! That was pretty close. Dad probably knows I never meant any of these. I know for sure he mustn't see him with me if not he'll be a dead meat. My phone beeped and I looked to see it was Albert texting me.

Albert: hey babe, what do you say? I've dying to hear a yes from you.

Me: I'm so sorry buh I can't. My pups against it. Y'know he's home and will be staying for a while.

Albert: when did you start caring about his opinion?

Is he for real?

Me: last time I checked, he's my dad.

Albert: I'm your boyfriend.

Me: Not yet.

Albert: Fine!

Oh God, he's upset already. He should just understand. My dad travels quite a lot but I'm afraid he'll be around for a month or so. He'll definitely find out if I disobey him. He might harm him if he sees him around me but this guy wouldn't even let me explain. He seems not to understand.

Me: Albert try and understand.
Me: We're still friends.

I sent him many messages which were left unreplied. I can't have problems with my dad because of him. And besides I can't hide. My dad knows my every movement, I wonder how he does that. After a while another text came to my phone.

"Seems like some people don't understand when someone wants to be alone" I hissed. Just then I noticed it was Albert, I checked it out.

Albert: let's meet at our usual spot.

Me: I'm so sorry buh I can't. He's gonna find out.

Albert: What do you mean? How?

Me: He has his ways, trust me.

Albert: He must surely be a gangster.

Me: You're such an asshole. FOOL!

Yeah I didn't just send that? Well I did. How dare him insult my dad. I lay on my bed tired and angry. He will have to apologize to me or else....

Oh God! Please I'm really very sorry for the short chapter. I promise to make it up.
