40. Hawaii🌺

JAYDEN'S POV

After landing in Hawaii, I watch my friends taking pictures as we wait for our ride from the airport. Andriano was being turned into a photographer and the look on his face was priceless, he hated taking pics.

I walk to a more quiet part so I could take a call from my mum while my eyes were still on them, I wouldn't want them loitering especially Mira, she had the habit of wandering and making us all search for her. I stared at Hailey as she laughed at something Andriano said, she was matching outfits with Mira. All clad in baggy blue jeans and customized white crop tops with her flat tummy on display. Most times it looked like the abs were fading, not like I expect her to have toned abs though. Everything about her was just sexy. She was wearing a sun shade now and a silly pencil stuck on her ear, she had been drawing throughout our flight.

"Jayden can you here me?" Shit!

"Yeah I can mum. What did you say again?" I asked. I watched as a blonde guy approached her and she smiled at him. He wasn't so tall and I utterly dislike him already. He should back off, she's my girl!

My girl?

I find my legs involuntarily moving towards them.

"Mum our ride is here. I'll text you later" I reply before placing the phone in my pocket. I wrapped my arm possessively around Hailey's waist and she stiffened when she knew I was the one.

I guess I'll have to apologise later.

"Uhm... Nice to meet you once again Hailey" the guy says with a nervous smile as I glared daggers at him. My height was kind of intimidating though since he was way shorter.

Jayden he's not short. You're just being jealous!

"Yeah! Can I get your contact though? You can follow me on Instagram it's..."

"Our ride is here" I cut her off dragging her away from the blonde guy by the waist and Mira looked at me like I had grown two horns. Andriano just looked amused, he knew I liked her so he wasn't surprised. They trailed behind me and we had to wait an extra five minutes for our ride".

"What was that for?" Hailey asked,.I can't tell if she's pissed but her voice is calm so I guess we aren't having a fight either.

"What for?" I feighed ignorance.

"The stunt you pulled. He's a nice guy and I wanted to get to know him silly!" She whined and I chuckled, she sounded cute.

"Snap out of it Hailey, he was just trying to help. Most guys out here aren't really nice" Mira snapped, I know that tone. Why is she pissed though?

"Wareva!" Andriano added rolling his eyes at Mira and Hailey chuckled,she never sees anything as an offense. I'm quite sure Mira wouldn't take it so lightly if Hailey snapped at her and the look on Andriano's face shows he's thinking what I'm thinking.

The car pulled up at the beach house and we hopped out of the car.

"We're home!" Andriano said in a singsong manner. Mira, Andriano and myself frequent here alot.

"Wow!" Mira and Hailey cooed in unison.

"This place has an entire different look" Andriano added and I nod.

"My parents kind of renovated it so yeah!" I reply and I we move inside. Mira grabbed my arm and walked hand in hand with me, is it wrong to wish it was Hailey instead. We all took a tour round the house and after that we all had to choose a room. The first room was really beautiful and Hailey wanted to have it but Mira insisted she wanted it. She never really liked that room so I don't know where the bad energy is coming from. Andriano took the room opposite hers.

Hailey was trying so hard not to look bad and I smiled. I had a room specially for her though, no one makes use of it cos it was opposite mine. It was supposed to be Jace's room but he said it was too girly so mum had it reserved for a special guest. I guess this is day.

"Come here!" I say to her dragging her to the room,she gasped at how big and beautiful it is.

"Awwwww it's so beautiful" she smiled.

"Yeah. I'm glad you like it" I add.

"I love it. It's better than Mira's! I laughed last!" She giggled and I smiled.

"Hey!" She waved her hand on my face I realized I was staring.

"You kinda zoned out. Are you okay?" She asked worried.

"Yeah I'm fine".

Hailey , Jayden, Andriano and Mira are seen in a mall, they spent time getting what they'll need and also shopping for nice beach wears. Hailey stuck with Andriano so that Mira could have Jayden all to herself. She noticed the cold behavior Mira put up because of Jayden so she decided to let them be since she already promised to help.

An Interesting song started to play and Hailey couldn't help but start dancing in while all eyes were on her. She was good, no doubt. They all cheered her, glad to have something interesting to feed their eyes on while most of them took videos of her. She was quite popular on social media so soon enough the video went viral,

Mira was red with envy, she wondered why Hailey was always stealing the spotlight.

"What do they all see in that silly dance?" She said to herself irritated.

"She's your friend so you shouldn't be so bitter. Besides her skills are great and she entertained us all!" The woman said to Mira with a small smile.

"You all!" She snapped at the woman before joining her friends to the counter to pay for their goods.

"That was awesome!" Andriano said excitedly and Mira scoffed.

"I see nothing interesting in that performance" she added and Andriano chuckled.

"I see someone is jealous huh?" He teased.

"Oh please! There's nothing to be jealous about"

"Mira guess what?!" Hailey squeaked excitedly as she joined them in the car.

"What?" Mira replied dryly.

"I just checked my notification on IG and I have like 200+ followers! Geez it's not even up to two hours yet!" Hailey giggled and Mira scoffed.

"What am I to do with that piece of information?" She asked with a frown and Hailey was silent, she wondered if she said too much or if she was being too excited.

"What's wrong?" She asked Mira.

"I don't just wanna talk to you please. Jayden can we leave now?" She said to Jayden and he turned on the car ignition.

Hailey felt bad and guilty throughout the ride back home.

What the hell did I do wrong?
