21. Drake💞

HAILEY'S POV

Mr Chinkantar has been teaching physics for some minutes now. He gave us an assignment to do with our group partners which he insisted remains unchanged.

Why???

I'm seriously not in the mood for Jayden and his trouble. I glanced at him and I saw he was looking at me or maybe it was a coincidence that he looked at me then but either ways I don't really care. I decided to just give this a try one more time. I picked up my notebook and calculator and sat beside him.

"Hey Jayden" I smiled at him. I really hope this works.

"Hey" he replied still facing his textbook.

"Uhmm.. how is Molly? Never knew she was your sister but I must confess she's a cute little girl"

"Thanks"

What's wrong with this dude? I'm beginning to get irritated at his monotonous response. Does he think I really wanna be friends with him? Mtcheew!

"Shall we?" I asked. My sense of humor fading gradually, the anger very obvious in my voice.

He just sat down there there doing nothing, his emotionless hazel green eyes boring holes into mine.

"Jayden I'm seriously sick and tired of all these I snapped at him in frustration.

"Suite yourself!"

"Why are you like this Jayden? I've apologised to you but you still chose to act so full of yourself. You know what? I'm done here. Do yours while I do mine!" I said anger lacing my tone. I stood up angrily from the chair and made an attempt to walk away but he held my arm causing me to halt.
His hands I must admit are the softest pair of hands ever. I just loved how his cold touch felt on my skin. I wished it would linger but no, he removed his hands and cleared his throat. That was when I realized I've been staring.

Shit! Hailey you're supposed to be angry and wearing a frown.

"Molly asked after you" he informed in his usual cold tone.

"Tell her I sent my regards"

"We'll do the stuff at my place" he said and I looked at him suprised . What the hell is going on here‽‽‽

"No thanks, I'm not interested in spending a second with you" I blurted out. He looked at me amused and I felt slightly annoyed.

"Same here miss. Just that Molly really misses you and I can do anything for her including letting you stay at my place for sometime against my wish" he said with a bored expression and I scoffed.

Proud brat!

"Wareva!"

"I'll text you the address" he said ignoring my previous statement.

"How come you have my..."

"I have my ways" he said dryly not letting me complete my question. So annoying!

He continued staring at his book and I scoffed. I walked back to my chair and unconsciously rubbed the spot he had held me.

I'll be going to his house? Don't be scared Hailey he doesn't bite. I stared at him but unfortunately I was caught staring. So bad🤦. I had to roll my eyes as a cover up for my foolish action. He just looked extra handsome today.

Oh Hailey shut the hell up!

I was still trying so hard not to glance at him when I felt someone sit beside me. I looked at him trying to remember his name. I remember having a conversation with him once but can't remember his name. Silly right?

"Hey gorgeous"

"Hey!" I replied with a smile showcasing my dimples.

"Remember me?"

"Uhmm... To be honest I don't. Can you remind me please?" I asked.

"That hurts buh nevermind. I'm Drake"

"Oh yeah! The cute guy that insisted on walking me home the other day right?"

"Yeah. I really wanted to see you again"...

"Aww. That's so cute yknow. Thanks dearie".

Drake was really a funny guy and I couldn't stop laughing throughout the time he was with me. He kept on saying silly jokes and we laughed at them all. I realized Jayden had an angry look and he glared at Drake. Wow! Don't tell me the almighty Jayden is jealous. That's kinda funny. Well I just feel they're not in good terms though, jealousy is definitely far from it.

Drake asked me on a date, more like a friendly date and I agreed. He's actually a handsome blonde guy, not so huge but just average height. I won't call him short though cause he's taller than me. He pecked my cheeks and I blushed.

"I'll see you later babe" I waved at him and I noticed Jayden walk out of the class. What's going on?

During lunch hour I sat with Mira and Andriano. Jayden was at the extreme moving his head to the rythm of a song he was listening to on his headset. After sometime he pulled it off and started typing on his phone.

"I saw you with Drake yesterday. I think he likes you" Mira giggled and I shrugged.

"He asked me on a date" I said with a smile and Andriano grinned at me.

"Aww! That's cute" Mira chuckled.

"Looks who's finally getting a boyfriend" Andriano added and I giggled. Jayden scoffed.

"Drake goes after everything in skirt" he added nonchalantly while still tapping his phone violently. What the hell was he typing? Does he ever say anything good?

"Well that's kinda true though. Be careful with him Hailey" Andriano added like it was no big deal and u smiled at him.

"I will. Trust me on that"

I was eating my cupcakes and I occasionally glanced at Jayden. I just admire him though, he's quiet, handsome, smart, good in sports and all. If not that he's an annoying guy I might have possibly crush d on him. No way!

I just hope Jayden's and I don't get into a fight at his home today.

It's actually very funny to think that Jayden might have been a little bit jealous tho... Or do u think he's not in good terms with Drake?

I'm really excited to see what's gonna happen at his place this evening. I just hope the two of them (Hailey and Jayden) don't kill each other. Lol!
