13. Do you like her?🤔

I took my sketchpad and went to the field. I watched the sophomores have their PE practicals.

I felt bad I can't have true friends. I don't know for Mira and Andriano but l know Jayden hates me.

Andriano is a naturally friendly person and Mira seems to like me.

I just want people I can trust, people that will love me for me. Whenever I remember how my supposed friends in London turned against me, I felt my eyes water.

Are people always so mean? Lord show me true people I can call friends.

I brought out my sketchpad and 2B pencil and strolled through my music list for Beyonce's songs.

I listened to the song and tried imagining her as I made a sketch of the image on my mind. All my imaginary drawings are abstract tho unless I concentrate and picture it in my mind.

I've only made two portraits which are my dad and Albert, my ex crush.

Mira's POV

I watched Jayden as he read his sci Fi novel. I wonder what he finds interesting in those dry books.

I really don't like the silent treatment he's been giving Hailey. I know she feels bad and left out whenever she's with us and it makes me really very guilty.

What's wrong with Jayden? I doubt if he knows her before. When Hailey tried encouraging him he only gave her a ' let me be ' look. I might be a mind reader but I can never tell what's on his mind.

Linda joined me cracking dry jokes. She is obviously here because of Jayden who doesn't give a damn about her.

"Hey Jayden!" She called and he shifted his attention to her. He gave her a small smile and she blushed.

Andriano walked in to inform Jayden of their soccer practice.

"You guys will join us right?" Jayden asked. He just changes his mood like...

"Mira I was just caught up in thought. I'm cool" he said flashing me a big smile. A Greek god, hmmm...

"Where's Hailey?" Andriano asked and Jayden scoffed. What the hell is wrong with him?

"Jayden drove her away" I tell him in a frustrated tone.

" Stop making me feel guilty" he cut in.

" Why do you treat her that way? "

" What way? " he asked and I scoffed.

" Jayden talk to us "Andriano added as we walked towards the field. Jayden was mute for a while

"I don't like her" he spat out.

"Why?" I asked frustrated.

"We just let her in easily"

"You're just being jealous" I concluded. He's just we are giving her so much attention, if not what else? He walked in front of us while Linda left promising to be back before the soccer practice was over.

Andriano came closer to me with his hand around my neck.

"I think he likes her" he whispered into my ear.

"You mean Linda?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Who then?"

"Isn't it obvious he has a crush on Hailey?" He asked and I laughed out loud making Jayden turn to look at us.

"Well that's not possible. I know Jayden too well. How can someone be so mean to his crush? He hates her if you ask me" I concluded.

"Well I'm not sure but I'll find out myself"
