Azura looked at Kewok approaching her in fear. They were only a few steps apart when the brown-haired girl collapsed and small convulsions ran through her, as she felt all her previous pain slowly trickle back into her body. But before the pain could completely take over her, Kewok conjured up a bottle full of potion, then squatted down next to her and made her drink the entire contents of the bottle. Azura tried to resist this, but she didn't have a chance due to the pain. A few seconds later, all the pain in the brown-haired girl had disappeared, only a small stinging point was felt around her stomach. Kewok meanwhile turned the unconscious Priscilla onto her back and then, like with Azura, gave the purple-haired witch a potion. After that, Kewok placed his index finger on Priscilla, then backed away a few steps. Priscilla suddenly opened her eyes and sat up with a loud grunt. The purple-haired witch's grunt turned into a cough that died down within seconds.
"What happened?" Priscilla asked in a trembling voice, while looking at Azura.
Azura tried to answer, but no sound came out of her throat. She was still trying to process what she just heard.
"Well, my child." Kewok spoke. "Me..."
He could not finish his sentence, because as soon as Priscilla saw Kewok, she screamed, then quickly got to her feet and started towards the ancient god. Kewok waved a finger, and Priscilla froze, as if she had turned into a statue, only able to move her eyes in horror.
"So I wanted to say." Kewok began again and looked at Priscilla. "Me and my dear sister, Artemis, have sworn the Ancient Juramentum, within the framework of which you must fight each other again, but this time your fight has serious stakes. If you win, I can have Azura Lucia Noceda's blood, but if your little friend wins, you can all leave unharmed."
However, it did not escape Azura's attention that Kewok had not told Priscilla what would happen to her and all the animals, witches and fairies here if she did not win. Their memories would be erased and modified.
Azura opened her mouth to speak, but finally closed it. She did not know why, but she felt that it was better if Priscilla did not know about this.
Kewok could clearly see her hesitation, because he flashed a fleeting, mocking smile at her.
"Oh, and since it is right for both of you to think that I would break my word if the human girl did win, I will tell you that whoever breaks the Juramentum pays a heavy price, a price that even I would not dare to accept." Kewok completed what he had to say.
The ancient god's voice sounded strange again, and from this ringing Azura knew that Kewok was speaking the truth. The brown-haired girl didn't dare to think about what would happen to someone who didn't keep this Ancient Juramentum, because even an ancient god was afraid of its power.
Kewok then waved his finger, and Priscilla was able to move again. Fortunately, the purple-haired witch girl didn't try to attack Kewok again, probably realizing that she wouldn't have a chance against him, instead she looked darkly at the antlered creature.
"And you seriously think we're going to play this sick game? I'll just give up the fight and..."
Kewok's face broke into a smile that made Priscilla immediately fall silent.
"You won't really have a choice, because whoever loses... " the ancient god spoke, then waved with both hands, as Taneisha and Amity floated over his head. "...I'll kill that person's parent immediately."
Azura's brain was completely blocked by this, and she only dimly perceived what was happening around her.
"You lying bastard!" Priscilla screamed. "You said that if Azura wins, everyone can leave unharmed, and now you'd take my mother's life?!"
