The sun was already setting, and Taneisha sat alone on the soft sand of the northern beach with her arms around her knees, watching the waves of the sea sadly.

Almost two days have passed since she finally closed her heart to Darius and tried to forget him, but no matter how she tried, she couldn't do it. All she could think about was that Darius had probably listened to her and was already with someone else. And she hated herself for it. Because how can she keep dreaming about a man she barely knows?

Taneisha shook her head and tried to clear her mind. She only focused on the roars of the sea. After a few seconds, the ebony-haired witch began to blink and was overcome by sleep.

In her dream, she found herself in a dark and dank place, where the only source of light was two glowing orbs. As she got closer to the spheres, she saw herself in them, except that both spheres showed her a possible vision of the future. In one, she remains queen of the fairies for the rest of her life, protecting and caring for them. In the other sphere, she saw herself and Darius happily living their lives together.

Taneisha carefully touched the orbs and tried to unite them, but as the orbs shattered into pieces upon contact, the ebony haired witch was left alone, lost in the darkness...

Taneisha suddenly awoke from her sleep, panting heavily.

"Is everything alright, Your Majesty?"

The ebony haired witch immediately looked to the side and met Darius' worried gaze.

"Are you feeling well?"

"S-sure," Taneisha nodded. "Just a bad dream... Wait... What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to meet you," Darius answered. "I didn't find you at the Fairy Kingdom, and before the fairies tore me apart, someone named Pixie was kind enough to tell me where you were."

Taneisha blinked at Darius in surprise, then noticed that the dark brown man's body was disfigured by bite marks in several places. Did Darius really risk his life just to find out where she was?

But before Taneisha could say anything, Darius continued.

"I saw that you were sleeping here alone and I was worried that you would get into trouble, so I sat down next to you and waited for you to come to your senses."

Taneisha's eyes widened in shock. Did Darius watch her sleep?! This was both terrifying and somehow comforting to her.

Suddenly, Taneisha heard the rustle of small wings directly above her, but when she looked up, she saw no one, only the dark blue sky dotted with stars. However, Taneisha noticed that despite the night, it was unusually bright around her. That's when she noticed that dozens of small balls of light were floating above her head. Taneisha took her eyes off the orbs of light and looked back at Darius, who in turn kept his eyes on Taneisha. The ebony haired witch felt herself blushing so she quickly cleared her throat.

"Why did you want to meet me?"

"I just wanted to let you know that I'm not giving up," Darius answered with a strange ring in his voice.

"You won't give up?" Taneisha repeated confusedly.

"No," Darius shook his head and looked directly into Taneisha's eyes as he carefully took the ebony haired witch's hand. Taneisha felt the palm of the man with dark brown skin pleasantly warm. "From the moment I laid eyes on you, I felt that you are the perfect witch for me, with whom I want to spend my life with. I have never met a smarter, stronger and more wonderful person than you, and although I know you said that it is better if I choose someone else, I just can't do that. I loved you sincerely and irrevocably, and I will hope for the rest of my life that maybe one day you will reciprocate my feelings."
