Ooh, your necklace was hanging from my neck
The night we couldn't quite forget
When we decided, we decided
To move the furniture so we could dance
Baby, like we stood a chance
Two paper airplanes flying, flying, flying
And I remember thinking
Are we out of the woods yet
Are we out of the woods yet
Are we out of the woods yet
Are we out of the woods

Kiara and John B head back into the chateau, each eager to seek out their respective partners. John B just wants to hang on Sarah and Kiara just wants to figure out where JJ is so her nerves can settle. He may not want to hang out with her but she still needed to see him, at least.

Once they locate Sarah, her sister gives her a soft smile. "Hey, I didn't see you come in," she mentions, looking around like she must have just missed her.

Kiara glances to John B for a moment as he slyly wraps a protective arm around Sarah's waist, giving her a kiss to the temple that Kiara now realizes is more than just a tender greeting. "Yeah, it's insane how crowded it is," she deflects, not keen on rehashing her entire conversation with John B in the moment.

Sarah and shrugs, unbothered by the amount of people. It's not something she's unused to and really Kiara either. They've been to enough Kook events together in the past to know how to handle stuffy crowded rooms. Sarah is also acutely aware of the confrontation that JJ and Kie had on the way over, and feels a liquid pick me up wouldn't be the worst thing for anyone at the moment.

"Here," Sarah says, turning around and pouring a couple shots into two solo cups. Kiara eyes the pour, knowing full well that Sarah isn't a bar tender and will no doubt be over serving.

She lets out a breathy chuckle as she takes the cup from her sister. "Aren't you supposed to be the Angel on my shoulder," she teases, taking the shot in two swigs, because yes, Sarah did in fact over pour. "Such a cliche," she teases the couple affectionately.

"Whatever," Sarah laughs, downing her own and then refilling both their cups, this time Kiara making sure it's not straight vodka.

Pope joins the group soon after, dressed in a white lab coat that's obviously one he actually owns. They all agree to take another shot and Kiara laughs as the alcohol floods her system, pointing at Pope. "You look like Dr. Frankenstein." No idea why that's funny.

"You couldn't be a little more original?" John B quips to his brainiac brother. "You wear that thing like every day."

Kiara tunes out of the conversation once she realizes that the group is together with one missing piece. She does a sweep of the layout, but still doesn't find JJ amongst the throng of people. The fog machine is making everything hazy and she can feel herself getting anxious. She could jump out of her skin.

Pope brings her out of her wandering when he comes back at John B.

"At school," Pope defends. He wasn't lame enough to wear it in public. John B just laughs.

Pope makes a gesture to Kie's attire, taking in the fake blood painted across her clothes and the little that remains on her face after the few tears she spilled in the car before she came inside. "Hey look, we're giving John B and Sarah a run for their money. Car crash victim, doctor," he jests at the idea of a couple costume pairing.

Kiara just looks down at her ruined Wreck t-shirt and remembers JJ having the same comment about her being the victim of some kind of horrible accident when he picked her up. And just like that her focus is back on where he could be.
