34. The Bite

Eleven was sitting in the same position after she'd decided to go into Billy's consciousness to find the mind flayer. Of course Mike was still heavily against it.

"She's taking too long," Mike said.

"Just give her time,man" Aiden was getting tired of his brother's whining.

"I found it," El said.

"Where?" Max asked.

"Brimborn... Steelworks" El said.

"The warehouse..." Aiden whispered.

"What?" Nancy looked at him.

"Nothing," The boy said on impulse.

"Aiden,I know you're not allowed to tell us details but we need-"

"There's a warehouse on Cherry Oak drive" Aiden breathed out. "That's where it's happening"

"That's not far," Nancy said.

"Alright,El get out of there" Mike said. However, El didn't move.

"What's going on?" Will asked. "Why isn't she moving?"

"She can't hear us cause he found her spying on him" Aiden immediately sat down opposite the girl.

'Kakashi Sensei?'

'Go into sage mode, I'll push your consciousness into her mental link'

"Aiden, what're you doing?" Nancy asked as Aiden placed his fists together and closed his eyes.

"Getting her out of there," Aiden said. "when she wakes up,shake me"

"But-" Max started.

"Just trust me"

Even though he couldn't see it, Max nodded her head as the orange pigmentation of sage mode appeared on Aiden's covered eyelids.

"You let us in.. and now you have to let us stay" Aiden heard the voice that mixed with Billy's say.

"All this time we've been building it, we've built it all for you.. all that work and pain, for you. It's time to end it... We're going to end you and once you're gone... We are going to end that nuisance of a boy. And then,we will end everyone"

"Wrong" Aiden immediately appeared between El and Billy, slamming a rasengan into Billy's gut to send him flying. Once Billy was out of sight, Aiden turned to El and gave her a smile before she disappeared from the void. Once Aiden was alone in the space, something started to feel off... Suddenly, complete blackness was replaced by sudden bright flashes, all passing by as if Aiden were moving at hyperspeed. He saw things... Both very familiar and completely unfamiliar things; Hawkins,the leaf village, Sakumo, Hopper, Naruto,El, Mike, Nancy,the upside down... It all seemed like they were being forced into his head and he started to feel actual physical pressure as the process got more intense. He doubted he could take anymore but luckily,the process stopped just as suddenly as it started, causing Aiden to fall to his knees in the shallow water of the mental link. A split second later,the joy felt himself start to wake up.

"...den! Aiden!"

The boy opened his eyes with a start. They were still orange from using sage mode as he tried to get a grip on himself.

"What the hell was that?" He whispered.

"You tell us!" Max said.

"Yeah, after you pulled El out, you started shaking," Lucas said. "seriously shaking"

"You looked as if you were about to have a seizure" Barb added.

"Are you okay? What happened in there?" Mike asked as he held El in his arms.
