It'd been at least thirty minutes since Aiden and the older teens headed out into the lake and Max was worried. It didn't help at all that the clone he'd left with them disappeared almost immediately after the police caught up to her, Lucas, and Dustin. They'd been questioned for at least 20 minutes now and Max was getting close to snapping at the two officers AND the parents. She was extremely worried about Aiden and she was sure if Karen had even an inkling of what was currently going on with her children, she would be too. Currently, they were all arguing and it was driving her nuts, thankfully Officer Powell had heard enough arguing and decided to step in.

"All of you shut up!" The dark-skinned man yelled. "now we're going to try a more civilized approach, one at a time"

"You first" he pointed at Max. The ginger was immediately taken aback by this.

"Why me? I'm not even in Hellfire!" Max argued.

"Do I need to cuff you?" The second officer, Callahan asked.

Max let out a sigh before going in to answer whatever questions they had for her.

God, she hoped he was okay...

Relating to the current situation he was in, Aiden had gained a lot more respect for Will than he already had.

Everything in this hellscape was out to kill them and he was currently hiding with the others underneath a tree trunk from a swarm of demobats that were currently flying overhead, their screeches cutting through the otherwise dead atmosphere as Nancy gave his hand a light comforting squeeze.

How had Will survived in this cursed realm completely alone for a whole week?!

They'd barely gotten to celebrate the fact that Aiden was okay when they were spotted by not one, not five or ten, but an entire swarm of those faceless demons.

Once the flying creatures had passed, they all stepped out of their hiding place to catch their breath... Or they would've if Aiden hadn't staggered by the second step he took.

"Woah, woah..." Eddie held the boy up. "You okay?"

Aiden nodded. "yeah... Yeah, I'm..."

'No, you're not,' Minato's voice rang in his head. 'You're running low on Chakra again, and using Sage Mode drained your reserves even further'

"Shit..." Nancy walked over and slung Aiden's arm over her neck while Eddie did the same with his other arm. "All right, Denny come on.."

"You can't just drag me to..." Aiden paused. "Where are we even going?"

"Wherever we're going, yes I can," Nancy said.

"So uh..." Eddie looked around. "This place is just like Hawkins but full of monsters and nasty shit?"

"Yeah, pretty much" Aiden nodded as they started to walk through the woods slowly. "Watch out for the vines"

"The what?" Eddie asked.

"The vines" Steve clarified. "This whole thing is like one hive mind or whatever"

"You step on a vine, you step on Vecna" Aiden added.

"Wait, if this is a dark reflection of our world, that means everything's here, correct?" Robin asked.

Nancy nodded.

"That means we can go to the police station and get guns or whatever we need to fight off those bars" Robin reasoned.

"Yeah, but we don't need to" Aiden spoke up. "Nance has guns in her room"
