A/N: I didn't proofread or edit shit. Take the chapter as it is. Shit took me all day to type especially in my current emotional state. You're welcome.

If Max was to list the things she was thankful for, one of them would definitely be having a trained ninja as her boyfriend.
Being around Aiden so long had sharpened her senses enough for her to notice every tiny detail in a situation. Which is why she was quick enough to get away from Vecna the second she saw an opening. While running through the nightmarish maze that was the Creel house, Max immediately closed her eyes, put her mind to good use and pushed her favorite memories forward.
Opening her eyes, she found herself in a familiar warm space.
El's bedroom.
Looking around, Max saw things she instantly recognized; the the radio and hairbrush on the bedside, the magazine with Ralph Macchio on it and a volume of a Naruto manga on the bed.
It was the night she, Aiden and Melanie had a sleepover at El's house; the perfect memory to hide in. A smile crept onto her lips, she couldn't believe it actually worked.
Now she just needed to hide in here till Aiden was done...
"Shit" Max's heart dropped as she realized. "Aiden!!"

If fighting itachi was hard, then the fight against Orochimaru was a fucking slugfest.
Aiden reached into the pouch he'd fixed onto the back of his pants, pulling out what would probably be his fifth kunai in thie fight. Holding it in a reverse grip, he stared down Orochimaru who still looked somewhat amused but was obviously starting to take the fight a little more serious after Aiden had almost put a hole in his back with the lightning blade. And yet ,the snake still found it necessary to taunt him.
"You'll have to use more power eventually, little one" Orochimaru clicked his tongue. "the base Sharingan can only do so much"
"Didn't Sasuke essentially kill you with just the base Sharingan?" Aiden shot back.
"Unlike him, you aren't an Uchiha" Orochimaru immediately started weaving hand signs which Aiden was able to catch quickly thanks to his Sharingan.
Dragon, snake, ram, hare, dog, Snake...
Aiden's eyes widened.. the second he saw the dragon hand sign, he knew it couldn't be good.
"Wood release: Wood dragon jutsu"
He hated being right.
The ground shook, causing Aiden to almost lose his balance as he tried to keep the shock from getting to him. Where the hell had the pedo snake gotten Wood release?!
Looking upwards, Aiden noticed clusters of wood and tree bark assembling together behind Orochimaru, in a massive heap at first but soon shaping into a serpentine creature with it's glowing yellow eyes staring right at him.
A dragon. And it was pretty big.
Orochimaru cracked a smile before making the tiger hand sign, immediately sending the dragon in Aiden's direction.
All this was happening at a high speed but Aiden's ocular powers made it seem to be as slow as moving underwater. The teen would've leapt out of the way but as if to make things worse, a few vines immediately wrapped around his ankles.
"Fuck!" He grunted out as the dragon barreled closer to him, it's mouth wide open.
Just as the dragon got close enough, the boy teleported out of the way of the creature and the grasp of the vines, merely seconds before the impact and causing the dragon to hit a building close by.
