Snap...

Crack...

Snap...

Pop...

Hiss...

Aiden didn't see much,it all went by as fast as it started... But he definitely heard it, he heard Chrissy scream, whimper...

He heard Eddie's screams.

He heard Vecna.

He saw Vecna.

'Aiden...'

Aiden's eyebrows went up as the psychopath turned to him immediately after killing the cheerleader, cracking a smile.

Vecna could see him.

"You son of a-"

'so nice to see you again,Aiden...'

"Aiden!"

He sat up immediately, gasping for air as sweat rolled down his face.

"It's alright, it's alright" Nancy patted his back. "You screamed my name.. another panic attack?"

He shook his head, trying to stop his hands from shaking. "this... It was different"

"Different how?" Nancy got on the ground next to him.

He debated internally. Should he tell her? He figured it was better if she knew as Fred would die soon after this, it's better she was aware something was up beforehand.

He let out a sigh and looked up at his older sister as he prepared to narrate as best as he could.

__________

El flopped down onto her bed, unshed tears pooling in her eyes.

Another horrible day at school.

She didn't understand, why did Angela and the others hate her so much? She was nice to them, she tried being their friend but they all just acted like mouth breathers to her. They ruined her visual aid and embarrassed her in front of everyone. She went through all this alone yet she had to convince Mike that she was happy through her letters.

She would've summoned Aiden to talk to him,but Mike told her that he'd left Hawkins to go and further his Ninja training for a while. Eleven missed him and wondered how he was doing.. she'd never directly heard from him again after they'd moved abd wondered if he'd forgotten about her.

The singular thought of that made her heart break, but she knew that wasn't true. They'd been through too much together for him to just forget her.. besides, she knew he had to be there for Max after losing Billy. She hoped their relationship was still strong as she'd found Aiden and Max to be a really cute couple.

Letting out a sigh, she turned to her bedside table and picked up her Walkman; one of the goodbye gifts Aiden had given her. It was yellow,as Aiden knew that was one of both their favorite colors.

El then reached for the stack of cassette tapes close by, her hand first grabbing the one labelled "X". Aiden had given El the choice to pick any of the songs he had abd of course the girl picked the ones that would remind her of him,one of which was his X playlist. The songs were mostly sad,but beautiful at the same time.. it confused El at first whenever Aiden put it on,but he'd told her one night at the cabin

"I don't listen to sad songs to make myself more sad,I do it to make myself feel less alone... To remind myself that there's millions of people who feel like I do and understand me,even if I don't know them... That's what makes music so beautiful"
