wake up for the sun shining—melting shades of dawn.
wake up for the smell of your mother's cooking.wake up for breakfast, put a music on your earlobes
with the spoon & fork clattering
with kindness mending the rage of
your stomachwhile you eat your meal--
with love we held on our arms.
wake up for your slippers
waiting for you to walk
outside the world.
drink a glass of water first.
when you feel the heaven's thirst.wake up existing again,
loving all things that come within.wake up in the morning—
where love bursts on your aorta
when you open your eyes.we exist to love
